Lyle hated republic worlds, their citizens had no respect ,they could be half way to the cursed location by now but no, lets all argue with the jedi.
"Well, while i am expected at the summit, no word has been heard from a republic representative so until then i am here to help out. If this has to do with the force than are you to say that your bunch is responsible for this? "
Jedi Sith, a force user was a force user, a giant headache...
" He looked to the young woman. " Well in that case, can we please proceed to the coordinates"

After the first wave of rescue droids, firefighters and ambulances had arrived, the police started to organize the increasing crowd that was gathering at the entrances and surroundings of the academy. Smoke was in the air, there was still a fire being fought, apparently a gas line of some sort had been reached in the explosion. Several dozen citizens were affected by the smoke as they coughed continuously; they proceeded outside the facility to see the magnitude of the terrorist attack. People cried, and screamed in horror at the terrible site. There was blood and remains scattered in a quite large area. Some crawled from under the wreckage, some helped them out. It was the best effort given the circumstances, but still a chaotic one.
A few minutes later an army brigade attachment arrived in their heavy transports. They caught everyone by surprise and surrounded the entire compound block by block. ¨Move it, move it, move it!¨. Troops jumped out of the hatches and ran across all directions moving fast like ants defending their nest from a foreign attack; reinforcements kept arriving deploying to all access, exit points and streets to the facility. They slowly started to manage the crowd and disperse the curious souls, and contain the people that had witnessed this tragedy.
The police protested at first, but once seen the scale of the operation they immediately backed down and helped along with much effort. This shameful and cowardly act had to be investigated to the very bottom.
The wounded were evacuated promptly, as the rescue operations were priority. After a while, the guards manage to separate the crowd in smaller bunches, for proper questioning. No force was used, but strict organization was applied, this was an emergency situation.
Lockdown was in place, nobody was going anywhere before reporting their statement. It was security protocol. Soldiers in charge manage to start interrogating some of the smaller groups, in order. All will be asked for credentials, to keep this investigation flowing with the minimal inconvinience.
Suddenly a group of officials arrive at the scene in a fast convoy of light transports, dark colors and tinted windows kept secrecy at maximum. By the logos it seemed to be part of the ministry of defense. A party leaves the vehicle…

As the military began to move in Thane let out an exasperated sigh. As a member of the swoop gangs in the lower city he wasn't exactly wll loved by authority and he wasn't looking forward to the cell he would be staying in. Glancing around quickly Thane spotted an ambulance that was closer to them than the other vehicles.
"I don't have time for beaurocratic nonsense, anyone heading to the lowercity can come with me."
Thane walked rather casually towards the ambulance, spotting the pilot just to the side speaking on a communicator. Approaching him Thane waved a slight greeting.
"Hey, how ya doin'?"
Before Thane let the pilot respond he brought his right fist across his jaw, opening his fist as he fully extended so he could grab the back of the pilots head and pull it down so he could bring his knee up to meet it. Stepping over the now unconcious pilot Thane climbed into the cockpit, hitting a series of keys on the dash the rear cabin entry slid open.
"Time to go!"

Aiden joined the group. He felt compulsion swell; the same compulsion he felt that led him to Professor Sol. As the pilot went down from the punch, Aiden knew this was going to be a wild one.
He looked back at the destruction and chaos left behind at the academy. It began to sink in. Things are never going to be the same.
Looking around, he took count on the group and made mental notes about each of the diverse characters. It caused him to grip hard on to his blaster.
He leaned over to Daedel.
"We better stick together. I don't trust these people."

If Teia could have moved faster, she would have been light itself. As Thane took over the ambulance, she jumped into the back and turned to face the rest of the group.
"Quickly! Get in everyone!"
She glanced fearfully at the scene unfolding around them. As an orphan she'd had her fair share of encounters with Coruscant law officials, and hated most of them because of it. How could she be blamed for not having parents? Yet that point was lost on the military and the police, who tended to raid the areas the orphans would stay in, locking up everyone they could catch. In some cases, she'd heard, some of the older boys had even been sent off to the spice mines...

Lyle shook his head and sighed.
" Jedi, I am off to attend to matters of a more diplomatic nature, Can i count on you keeping me informed?"
He tossed a com device to the Jedi.
"This will let you contact me, if you need any sort of help let me know. "
It was time to cause a distraction. There was no way they were going to just be able to leave. So he yelled at the soldier nearest to him.
" HEY YOU! WHATS THE MEANING OF THIS! I THOUGHT YOUR ARMY WAS TASKED WITH MY WELL BEING, IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT THOSE UNDER YOUR CARE?"
He played the part of an spoiled and enraged imperial well he thought as he glared down the men.

The entire compound was now filled and surrounded with Republican soldiers. All those observers and instigators where escorted outside the security area, which was now 5 blocks in all directions. Several gunships now arrived and hovered above to guard the skies, some patrolled slowly to identify any suspicious movement or attempt to escape. One of them followed what it seemed to be suspicious movement; it aimed the guns at it and reported. -¨Sir, we seem to have unauthorized movement on the south side of the building!¨ said with an excited voice. The pilot handled the controls with care, approaching, and quickly placed his finger on the fire button. The targeting computer locked in the red vessel, rockets moved and loaded the main launcher to fire. This was his opportunity; the aimed vessel was being boarded by unidentified civilians. -¨Wait¨ said the pilot.-¨It’s a civilian transport that is being evacuated now by the ground forces…false alarm.¨ And with that he took the finger off the trigger, sighing slightly. The perpetrators had to be in the area still, this was the best chance they had to arrest them, if they cooperated. Any other attempts will force engagement…
An Imperial officer stood out from the crowd -¨An Imperial officer??¨ mumbled a soldier, stepping out from a group, elbowing his comrade for attention.-¨Is this for real??¨ added the other one. -¨You better believe it, he is coming to us...curses¨ The Imperial officer was outraged about the situation, it was said there was a Trade Summit in place soon, and sure he was one of the representatives. It’s almost a miracle that he wasn’t injured, that would’ve been bad news, perhaps a good one for the Republican soldiers that crave battle. But war among the superpowers was not in the agenda. The Imperial officer stood in front now, and the soldier addressed him. –¨I am very sorry sir for this incident…please let us escort you to our vehicles¨ as he gestured to the vessels of the Ministry of Defense.-¨We hope you can meet our officials and perhaps state your declarations about this attack¨ quickly adding -¨Sir, we are glad you are alive and unhurt¨ The lockdown continued. Firefighters continued their work, the big fire was still being fought but contained. Ambulances were seen transporting the wounded. A soldier turns and spots an ambulance which had been there for some time now…something was strange here. He walked slowly towards it, trying to peek at the cockpit and see what the delay was about...¨Hey!¨ he yelled, ¨Move this ambulance now!¨…

Lyle scoffed at the soldiers feigned care. He wasn't going to let them bother to escort him. He would go himself.
" Well then I shall talk to your officials."
He walked quickly and with purpose towards the vehicles. Giving a glare to any soldier who even was slightly in his way. It was his way to show the Republic that they had screwed up. They had let him get attacked. He stopped in front of the vehicles and took a moment to compose himself.
Adjusting his hat and dusting off his uniform, he waited for them to acknowledge him. It would seem that either the attack was unrelated to his presence entirely or it was an attack on his life. How convenient for an delegate to die in Republic soil... and with that thought he tapped on the window hard enough to make sure they knew he wasn't pleased. They had a lot to answer to.

The Nautolan looked to the Imperial and frowned. She didn't like the idea of an Imperial following them, even though it was obvious that the Imperials hadn't really had anything to do with what had happened in the Academy hours earlier.
She nodded and looked at Aiden as he moved closer to walk next to her. "I believe everyone is here for their own motives. We must be wary and stick to what Professor Sol has told us."
She caught the com device the Imperial had tossed her way and scowled suspiciously. Keep him informed? Who did he think she was? And she was hardly a Jedi... She had been told she was force sensitive, and taken martial arts classes, basic weapons training, and studied history, art and science, but that was about it... She tossed the com over to Thane. Better let him deal with the Imperial. Not that she fully trusted these new people. She had just met them... At least with Aiden, she had known him over the years, or rather, known of him.
She hopped aboard the ambulance transport, and helped Aiden aboard.
"Here's the coordinates." She passed the datapad over to the pilot. She took a deep breath of fresh air, savouring it. She didn't know when she would get another breather. Something inside her told her that something big was looming. Something bigger than the 'terrorist attack' earlier.

((OOC: Niomi, the "jedi" Lyle was referring to is Snoweyshadow's character))
Thane tapped his foot as he waited for everyone to climb on board. He had taken the ambulamce pilot's gear to at least feign to onlookers that he was supposed to be piloting it. As he noticed one of the Republic troopers moving to inspect the cockpit Thane pretended to have been sleeping, faking a shocked awakening as the trooper tapped the viewport.
With a grin and a forced laugh Thane mimed to the trooper that he must have dozed off and waved as he activated the engines. He hoped everyone was on board as he moved the ambulance out of the now restricted area. He had picked an emergency vehicle because he figured it would have the least issues getting past the blockade. With a final nod to the nearest trooper he aimed for the nearest route to the lower city and punched the throttle.
((Whoever posts next should do it in a lower city thread))

Vehicles from the Ministry of Defense were now parked in front of the recently struck Academy. All efforts continued, soldiers ran back and forth in agitation. Suddenly, an Imperial officer walked towards them… Tiber Gracchus, nephew of Seizer was one of the officials in charge of this operation. He sat inside while finishing a conversation via commlink -¨I will have to call you back¨ said, surprised to find this stranger nonchalantly walking to them. A terrorist attack and he was there coincidently? Veins on his forehead swollen, an instinctive rage took him completely. He contained the anger to keep posture. -¨I want to talk to him, I want to talk to him NOW¨
The Imperial officer tapped on the window, the opposite door of the vehicle opened. Several representatives came out, two of them stood there while Tiber finally appeared. One of the remaining officials made a hand gesture to a Senate Guard, which approached quickly followed by his squad. They surrounded all including the Imperial officer, for protection.
Tiber walked away from the vehicle’s door, and approached the Imperial officer. A direct look to his eyes continued until he was right in front of him. ¨Well, well, well…what do we have here. Always a pleasure to meet an…Imperial¨, said with a hint of sarcasm. -¨So, I do believe your place should be in the Senate, with the summit. I wonder…what are you doing here?¨ The guards clinched their weapons; they knew what was going on and made them somewhat nervous. ¨You are lucky to be alive from what I see. Very, very lucky…¨ mentioned, walking past, standing side by side, shoulder to shoulder without looking at each other. -¨Tell me, what were you doing here sir?¨ he repeated.
This was happening at the same time as the rescue operations continued, and the soldiers supervision.

Lyle rolled his eyes What was he doing here?
" What am I doing here? " He couldn't believe the man was patronizing him.
" I am here for the public event I was scheduled to attend. I was here to present money to this academy and recruit students. Surely your government knew that I was here. I trusted the Republic to protect me. What is the meaning of an attack on my location! If I find out you had anything to do with this, It won't be favorable to the summit! "
He looked at the man with a face that showed he was displeased and not going to put up with their accusations.

Tiber listened carefully to the Imperial’s words...wanted to interrupt but waited for his opportunity: -¨I expected you knew the Trade Summit that you are here to attend is to begin negotiations of ALL sorts, including recruiting Republican citizens…SIR¨ said with a firm tone of voice. -¨You cannot just dance in here and take MY men, sir¨ a short pause was made. ¨…No charges will be filed against you¨ he ended. If Seizer was to hear the cockiness of Tiber’s words addressing the Imperial he would’ve been very displeased. Deeply perhaps he would’ve enjoyed it much, but really unnecessary.
A Quarren advisor quickly stood in between to calm things down and to address the foreign visitor. He stuttered somewhat as he ordered his ideas: *Quarren language* -¨Sir, ahem, eeeh, we…we have already prepared a vehicle for you with all the accommodations you may need, if you please just follow me you will find…¨ Tiber interrupted: -¨We only want the best for you, as you can see…¨ The advisor turned back looking at Tiber in surprise and bit of fear, waited a few seconds. An awkward silence followed, he then continued. *Quarren language* ¨Please, I insist, we are so glad you are here in such generous visit, we only wish the best to both of our societies…¨ He started to walk towards the vehicle assigned to the Imperial, expecting him to follow. Escorted with a squad of Senate Guards; he kept talking protocol and the importance of this meeting…as soon as he boarded they would go to the Senate. The Imperial officer was not welcomed warmly, but had to understand he was dealing with a security agency, more military-men than diplomats. Tiber squinted his eyes, he did not like this a bit. All for the Republic he thought to himself. He would make a personal statement to his uncle about the matter, after he could settle all the rescue efforts that still remained.
Suddenly a soldier approaches running ¨Sir, we have found an unconscious rescue pilot, and somebody has hijacked an ambulance! ¨ ¨Most likely our perpetrators¨ said Tiber. -¨Tap into the system and get me a reading on the location of that vehicle, track it now! I want whoever is behind this! ¨ The soldiers moved, they went to one of the transports. Once inside they tapped into the deployment system, the ambulance had to have a tracker of some sort. -¨Sir, seems it’s the lower levels¨
Tiber then released a slight smile. ¨MOVE!!! ¨

They won't press charges He fumed silently and couldn't help but counter the pigheaded man.
" You won't press Charges? Really you dare Threaten me? With some puny Republic Charges? I was here on an approved publicity event. If your incompetent organization had some communication you would know of my presence here from the get go. So Your lucky I am unharmed and i am not dead since you seem to have a complete lack of ability when it comes to even a simple thing like defending a diplomat at a government sponsored event. We will expect concessions and an apology now good bye, I have actual work to do"
He walked towards the alien who knew his place and tried to appease him.
" Yes you there take me to the summit now " He got in whatever vehicle they had prepared for them and let him self calm down a bit. That man should be fired he thought.
" Also let who ever needs to know that that stolen ambulance that surely is reported by now is actually part of a jedi sponsored investigation of the incident and should be left to their own devices."
That should be interesting.
