Aiden was thoroughly confused. Less than an hour ago he was an ordinary student, concerned about passing his next exam. Now he had survived some sort of terrorist attack by something he can't even explain. To top it off, he felt compelled to seek out his history professor who seem to have expected this all along.
Then he looked at Daedel, her serene beauty calmed him deeply.
"I...I'm sorry. I'm not usually like this. I promise. I'm not sure we should go wherever that pad tells us."
He looked back at the chaos behind him.
"I've got a bad feeling about this."

"I did not mean to sound harsh. I am only trying to calm you because it's easier to think rationally when one is calm." Perhaps that was the wrong thing to say? She wasn't good at talking to people. Then again, given her history, it wasn't like she had a great teacher to teach her proper social ediquette.
"Is that something humans say often?" She asked, enquiring about his statement of feeling impending doom. She had often heard some students mention it prior to exams, and occasionally from her Master when she was a slave.
"I don't think that Professor Sol would send us on a mission that we could not handle. Perhaps this is what you were waiting for?" She asked. "Although, I have to say, fighting an enemy that is unknown is the worst situation I have ever been in. I have always encountered things I had previously read in texts."
She finished packing a few items in her duffel, along with some water and food, and consulted the datapad. It was telling them to head to the Lower Levels of Coruscant, somewhere that looked like the Industrial sector.
She had never been there, since she had never had a reason to be there before. Fortunately, she had read about it, and knew that they would need weapons. "Here. You may need this if you will accompany me." She tossed him a small hold out blaster with a mini scope mounted on the top of the barrel.
She moved towards the doorway and the turbolift that would take them down and out of the Coruscant Academy. She moved out of the turbolift and was confronted by the man and the little girl they had previously seen in Professor Sol's office. She brushed into him, her eyes had been busy focusing on the datapad and she hadn't noticed the taller adult.
(OOC: I worked you into the storyline!)

Thane had been attempting to convince Teia that the students would be fine when one of them managed to walk straight into him. In the process her datapad jabbed into his ribs and she somehow stepped on his foot.
"Haar'chak!" Thane shouted in response, not expecting the sudden pain. Another example of why getting involved is a bad thing, he thought as he took a step back, a slight glare aimed at Teia.
"Where you heading that's so important you can't take the time to look up?"

Teia watched most of what occurred very quietly. A normal 8 year girl raised in a good home with a loving family would probably be crying her eyes out by now. But Teia had lived on the streets most of her life, and consequently had seen lots of terrible things in her short span.
However, holding onto Thane's hand, Teia felt as though she finally had someone she could rely on. This man clearly was kind and caring, he'd come to help others and above all he had this incredible magic ability. Just like the Jedi the other street children always spoke of and pretended to be when the played.
As they stood at the door to the Professor's office, Teia watched two other people rush past them after speaking to the Professor. But the man made no effort to reply to her new friend, and she would not have any of that.
With the high pitched voice of an 8 year old, Teia spoke quite sternly to the Professor.
"Excuse me sir! My friend Thane spoke to you!"

Normally Lyle would ignore the ignorant bunch and keep on his business but the mention of something possessing the boy peaked his interest. If that being was the one who attacked here, perhaps it was related to the one that attacked the Empire. He followed the man and the girl, hoping that perhaps they knew where the two students had ran off to.
Lyle was in luck the man had stumbled right into the student before he could ask him about it. He looked for the boy, that was the one he was interested in. Lyle knew he would have to be careful here, as it was the republic and couldn't just interrogate him. He didn't say anything just watching the encounter, deciding if he would intervene.

Police services and various other figures had arrived on the scene swiftly after the attack had occurred, even some amongst the Jedi had arrived to do what they could to assist. The Academy was built strong, only some of its structure had been compromised but a few Jedi were present to try and move the damaged portions without needing to wait for heavy equipment.
Others, however, were tasked with searching the Academy for answers; primarily if those whom had attacked the Academy were still present.
Walking down the halls cautiously, the young Mirialan glanced about lazily as he moved at a surprisingly brisk pace. His robes fluttered about him from his movments before he turned a corner quickly, casually brushing a rogue strand of black hair from his face to clear his view. He could hear some discussions nearby, but still not quite near enough, the droids had directed him this way after reports of a small group seemingly ignoring them. Not too unsurprising for students, but some of the descriptions he'd received sounded like they didn't belong here.
It was those descriptions that had him moving as he did, the potential worry that students could be held captive by whatever had caused this damage. Pausing for a moment, he reached out with the Force, the thin tendrils drifting outwards from his family's distinct fountainous aura of the Force. He was still young, his grasp of the Force more than enough to warrent his command over what he was doing now, but this would've taken far less time for his Great-Grandfathers at this age.
It didn't take long, he was nearly ontop of them all now. Their auras and signatures in the Force each unique in their own ways. Yet none of them seemed to scream a threat to him, none of them malicious in their own right. Shaking his head, he surpressed his own signature once more before continuing towards the group. Turning the final corner, the young Knight looked upon the group.
They were rather rag-tag, that much could be certain. What appeared to be two students, a man with a young child and an Imperial Officer; all stood gathered just outside of a turbolift. The entire situation just befuddled him, none of them looked to harbour any ill will towards one another, they all just seemed just as confused as he did. The situation might have been helped had an Imperial Officer not been standing there in his finely pressed uniform, but even then he had heard the news of the Imperials being on the surface for a summit of some sort.
Shaking it off, he took a few steps forward to make his presence known as he spoke calmly, "Excuse me, are all of you alright? I'm here to make sure everyone in the Academy is safe and to track down any information people can offer about this attack."
He smiled for a moment as he started to try and offer a soothing aura, not one of his greatest talents. He could have just as easily taking a stab at analysing the attack through Psychometry, but accounts through eye witnesses were usually much more detailed.

At first Aiden felt crowded by the additional strangers that seemed to gravitate to his and Daedel's situation, but as the realization of what had just happened begin to settle, he thought this could actually be a good thing.
He looked to Daedel as she packed and handed him a blaster. He took a double-take at the blaster.
"Wha.. What are you doing with a blaster? OK, this is getting really weird here."
He looked to the Imperial, the man with his kid and the on-coming Mirialan.
"Did any of you see what happened? Immediately after the explosion, some sort of creature invaded me and posessed my body. I couldn't move or speak. But it spoke through me."
He felt like a lunatic spewing insanity as he explained what happened, which in actuality, he was pleading for help.
"But, then, it lept out of my body and took some sort of form and tried to take her head off."
He continued on frantically, feeling himself lose grip on the moment, his sanity.
"After that, I felt this strong compulsion to find this old Professor who teaches Old Republic history. I don't know why, but I did, and I knew exactly where to go. We get there and he's waiting for us! HE'S FRIGGIN WAITING FOR US!"
Aiden looks at Daedel's duffel.
"She has some data pad he'd given us. He wants us to go somewhere. I mean, am I crazy or is all this happening?"
He crouched down and placed his head into his hands.

Thane was eyeing the datapad that had unceremoniously been introduced to his ribs when he felt a Jedi's presence searching through the corridors like tendrals searching for prey. Glancing up he saw the Mirialan approaching. Just what we needed, one of those self-rightous religious nuts following us around, he thought bitterly.
Turning his attention back on the two students he listened quietly while the male ranted, not showing kuch of a reaction, let alone looking like he cared. Glancing at Teia he didn't have to ask to know what she would want. Turnimg his gaze to the female student, obviously the brains of the bunch, he spoke with a sigh.
"So where we goin'?"

Lyle, after hearing the story, had to get to the bottom of it all.
" I as a captain of the Imperial navy, insist everthing is fine jedi. You can go back to your masters and tell them such. It was a terriorst bombing like what has plagued the Empire, it seems we are both their targets. Some strange creature attacked us and was defeated. no leads to be seen. "
He didn't want some self righteous jedi here interfering. It was times like this he would wish the kid would just shut up about what was going on.
" And you, miss.. I don't believe we are acquainted. Lets go to these coordinates that your teacher assigned you to go to. I will provide any transportation we need to get there. Well lets go"

The Nautolan apologized to the man she had just run into. She could have sworn that she saw him a moment before in Professor Sol's office. Perhaps the old teacher had rejected an audience with him and they were just heading out of the Academy. Being a not very social person, she didn't know what to do in the situation. Normally she would have simply strode past them and carried on with the task she had been given. After all, it was the Wookiee named Wa'jacca who had granted her freedom from slavery and taken her here because he saw real potential in her to be something greater than anything anyone else had seen in her.
Her headtenticles twitched in slight annoyance at the prospect of all these new people trying to either order her around or join her.
She took a deep breath and allowed herself time to gather her thoughts. First, Aiden looked as if he was having a mental breakdown. She could also sense it in the air, with the fear threatening to drag her into its depths and drown her as well. "Aiden. You must try to remain calm. Remember our meditative breathing exercises. You do not have to come along, but I will be going."
She looked at Lyle, the arrogant Imperial who appeared to try to take charge of the situation and throw orders at will. "If you wish to help. fine. But I will not take orders from you sir. I am a student of this academy, not an Imperial one."
She looked more kindly to the other man and the girl."You may come along, but I don't advise the child to. There may be more dangers ahead. We're supposed to head to the Coruscant underlevels."
She glanced over at Aiden, and placed a calming hand on his forearm, which he had holding his head as if in a great deal of mental and psychological stress.

Teia hated being ignored. It was one of the things that would most irritate any child, and irritate her it did. She grumpily stomped off after Thane, as the Professor showed no indication of talking to her.
For the next while she kept rather quiet, simply listening to all the adults talk. Her hand remained firmly in Thane's, and it would have taken something far bigger than a sarlacc to her out of it.
She probably would have kept quiet, too, until the Nautalan lady objected to her coming along on the exciting mission they had just all embarked on.
She looked up at Thane, with the same adorable eyes she would always give the lady at the soup kitchen when she asked for a second portion, and in her sweetest voice said,
"Thane, I want to come along! I'm not a child, I'm 8!"
She added proudly, and with that looked defiantly at the Nautalan...

Thane shook his head as the Imperial demonstrated his bullish personality. The man truly wasn't attempting to alter public opinion of Imps. Thane greeted Teia's response to the student with a smirk at the corner of his mouth, turning with her to look at Nautalan.
"You might as well give in to her, she can be pretty convincing." Thane forced the grin away as he folded his arms over his chest, focusing on the group as a whole.
"Besides, she's grown up down there and I make a living there, you need us both."
Glancing towards the Jedi he quietly pondered how much of a headache he would create for him. He couldn't use even the smallest trickle of Force without him picking up on it. If it comes to that, I'll just have to improvise, he thought to himself.

Astronicus stiffled a small laugh to himself as the Nautolan wholly ignored his question and presence while the Imperial Captain fully expected him to leave since there were no leads. More troubling for the young Knight was the apparent possession of the young man named Aiden and the Imperial's claim that they too had been experiencing similar attacks.
He had listened patiently to the Nautolan's suggestions, feeling the distress from the young man as he very nearly rocked back and forth from his state of panic. The young man and little girl brought forward their protests as Tron let out a deep breath, shifting some of his focus to creating an atmosphere of calm and serenity to assist Aiden from his worries before he responded in turn, "I'm sorry if my presence offends, Captain, but I have been mandated by the Council to identify the cause of this threat. Be the situation resolved or not, that remains to be seen. This young man spoke of possession, something that I've only ever seen possible through the Force."
He paused to focus once more on maintaining the false atmosphere of calm before continuing, "And if this Professor seeks to send you to the Undercity, a man you were compulsed to find, then you may seek a little more assistance than a few blasters."
Casting a glance at the Captain for but a second, he continue, "But I doubt without recruiting a Bounty Hunter for a hefty sum, you'd be able to find any further aid besides what's here now as most of the focus is on maintain the security of the Senate Dome for the Trade Summit. Somewhere with more pressing matters for someone of your stature I believe, Captain."
The way he spoke the words were not so much of an attack, but rather a statement that the Imperial should be trying to maintain the illusion of peace between the two superpowers. Placing his focus on the young Nautolan woman, he spoke once more, "If you'll accept my aid, I would like to join you. I can offer my skills should you encounter resistance and I believe I can offer Aiden a little more support for his...well...present condition."
