Smilng at Teia Thane wiped his now bloodied hands on his white overshirt. With a smirk he ruffled her hair with his now clean hand.
"Its a pleasure, Teia, I'm Thanatos L'eonheart, but that's just between us. To everyone else I'm Thane." He spoke quietly so as not to be overheard. "As for an ambulance, I can already hear them coming."
Turning his gaze on the trio in the hall Thane could feel something off, some sort of residual sensation.
"You guys all right?"

The Nautolan nodded at Aiden. "I'm fine. Thank you for your concern. Are you?"
She looked over at Lyle, the Imperial cadet. "Yes, what is an Imperial cadet doing in the Academy? Surely you have more important things to do than read our history texts?"
She sensed confusion and negative feelings cloud the air, and permeate her senses. She tried to brush it aside in her mind, to uncload the mixed signals she was recieving, but it was difficult. The situation was just starting to settle, and everyone seemed to start pointing fingers at every one else here.
She noticed someone else (Leonhart), and wondered where he'd been hiding and hadn't assisted. She decided to observe for now, enough finger pointing had been done.
"That was strange, dark magik." She mused, speaking of the spectre/shadow being that had escaped the crash site and possessed Aiden.
The security bots came down the hallway, "You alright?" They checked them out, and then focused on Lyle. "You don't compute in our scanners. State your name and reason for being here."
((OOC: The crash site is far from where the rest of us, if that's who you're referring to. I'm not sure if you were so I modified my post to include you..))

Lyle hated being on republic worlds they were so ignorant. So he addressed both the droids and the girl.
"If you looked at my uniform or listened you would know that I am a Captain, Captain Lyle Oskeli and I am here for the ceremony that was planned to take place about now. I am here to give a sizable donation to the academy and recruit promising students as a sign of goodwill towards the Republic. I also am on Planet to represent the Empire at the Trade Summit. "
He included the last bit to mention that he was here as a diplomat. He didn't notice any injuries on them. when he heard the speaker from the hall.
" We are fine, sir are you alright? I am trained in some basic medical treatment. "
He ignored the droids for the most part hoping his answer would have been good enough for them.

Aiden would almost prefer to be trapped alone with Daedel and some monster than to be around the adults that had joined them.
"I'm okay, I think. I can almost still feel that thing inside me. Ugh!"
He looked at the ceilings and walls around him.
"Not an engineer major here, but I'm pretty sure we should be making our way out of here."
At that moment, more rubble fell around the group. More screams could be heard along with sirens.
Rescue droids were flooding in to the space.
He used the distraction to pull Daedel to the side and whispered to her privately.
"Did you see what I saw? What was that? I feel like something wretched is inside me. I don't think we should tell anyone everything we saw. They might think we were involved."
Just outside the building, hundreds of spectators gathered along with the Rescue crews. Hundreds of injured students were being assisted while over thirty bodies laid on the ground, covered by white sheets.
A news crew was attempting to make its way to any survivors to get exclusive interviews.

At twenty-three years old Thane was fairly athletic, unfortunately his previous exhurtion had left him drained. Upon hearing the captain's offer of help he let out a slow breath.
"Help get this student outta here." Thane gestured to the battered form on the ground as he slipped his hand into Teia's reassuringly.
"Come on, all of you, this way should still be clear."

The Nautolan nodded, eyes wide. "There is already much confusion here. Everyone will likely point fingers at us. However, I think that if we are asked by the Professor, we should at least admit to following the strange creature."
She sensed something strange about Aiden, as if he had been changed somehow. Perhaps it was residual energy emnating from him because the being had overpowered him, using him as a parasite uses a host. "You are sure you're alright? Perhaps we should seek Professor Sol or another expert."
She looked over at the droids who were looking at the area. "Up ahead, turn down the left hallway. It's generally not crowded and will allow us to slip away easily."

An idea flashed.
"Professor Sol. History. His lectures are full of weird stuff. His office is close to here, maybe he'll be there."
He takes off running in the direction, not before grabbing Daedel's hand.

Daedel gripped Aiden's hand back and managed to catch up and keep pace with him as they raced down the hallway. They caught the nearest turbolift up several levels.
Normally calm, Daedel couldn't help but silently urge the turbolift up faster. She was filled with excitement and hope that the Professor may have some answers about the current situation and the events happening around the galaxy.

Aiden ran towards his professor's office as if there were a homing beacon in it. Perhaps even moreso like a dog running to a whistle. He knew exactly which hall to turn, which door to head to.
Once they arrived, the doors slid open to reveal Professor Kaden Sol, seated at his desk, with his chair turned to face the students, as if he was expecting them.
The 85 year old man sat with his hands clasped.
"Greetings... I've been expecting you."
Aiden, somehow knew, but he turned to Daedel and shot her a look.

As soon as they opened the door to the Professor's office, the Nautolan forced herself to breathe and become calm. Her head tenticles stopped twitching and settled into a loose, calm position at the back of scalp.
"Professor..." She was almost surprised that he would not be down near the scene or speaking with the authorities about the current situation. But perhaps he had more important things to do and had already done what needed to be done.
"I..." She didn't know what to say. He'd been expecting them? He was 85 years old... Most beings his age would have been in a care residence or at least retired at a much earlier age. And here he was, knowing that they-out of all the students at the academy-would be here to speak with him? She shook her head slightly, physically dismissing the thought from her mind.
She reached out with her natural empathic abilities and simply sensed radiating calm from the man. This helped calm her down even further as she relaxed in an at ease position.
"Professor... we needed to talk to someone about something we encountered several levels below us. Aiden was..." her eyes flitted to him and back at the Professor, "controlled by something."

It took Sol great effort to make his way up from his chair. With the help of a uniquely crafted wooden cane, he slowly made his toward the center of the room, where the two students had quickly advanced.
"Shhh." He put his finger to his lips.
"We mustn't discuss this here."
He swiveled his head left to right with a look of paranoia on his face.
He wishpered, "they're everywhere..."
Aiden rushed to speak.
"But Professor Sol, it entered my bod..."
Sol somehow mustered the strength to quickly put the end of his cane to Aiden's lips.
"Not here boy. Are you mad?"
Aiden obliged in silence.
Sol looked to Daedel.
"You there. You seem to be the brains of this outfit."
He reached in his pocket and pulled out a data pad.
"Take this girl. On it are coordinates. Go here. Answers will meet you there."

The Nautolan took the data pad which she would quickly figure out later. She had always been good with technology. You had to be if your father was a mechanic and you were enslaved by a spacer for the majority of your life.
She looked at Aiden who had just been humiliated infront of someone much older and wiser than either of them. "But Professor... Surely you should give this mission to someone more skilled and knowledgeable? These coordinates.." She looked at the datapad and up at Sol.

Thane knocked as he stood in the doorway to Sol's office, his grimace and the wide-eyed stare of Teia clearly showed he was there of the little girl's design. With a sigh he leaned against the doorframe and gestured to Teia.
"The little one here wanted to make sure you guys were okay, running off and all that... So, naturally, she insisted I come along."
It was becoming more apparent to Thane that the street girl had grown attached to him, and somehow he knew his quiet life of swoop racing wasn't going to be so quiet anymore.

Sol, who had spent the last several decades pretending to be a harmless educator could not help but release a wicked grin.
"Oh, my dear, this is no mission commisioned by me. I'm quite afraid a higher calling summons you."
Aiden watched as silently and still as he was when the Shadow Demon inhabited his body - he felt the same fear as well.
"Now go! They are everywhere... EVERYWHERE!!!"
Sol, turned away back to his seat.

The calm in the room had been an illusion. The air felt thick and heavy with deception, confusion, paranoia and a tirrade of other emotions. It was hard to sort through them. Daedel decided not to think about it, even though her head had begun throbbing in pain.
She felt Aiden's fear permeate her skull which added to the throbbing. Her headtenticles twitched anxiously. "Thank you for seeing us Professor." She gave him a bow and hurried out of the room, passing a human and a little girl as she did so. She tucked the datapad safely into a pouch on her belt. It flipped closed and fit in there easily enough.
"Aiden. You must try to breathe... I am as nervous as you." She admitted as they exited into the dorm area. She began throwing a bunch of tools, texts, a blaster and some stun blades into a duffel.
