Kian held his masters gaze considering her words. "Of course Master," He said falling in step beside her.
His mind was racing, Korriban was the ancestral home of the Sith, and a place of darkness. He felt slightly overwhelmed, but also excited about the prospect of facing off with the Sith. He quickly pushed that excitement away though. He was a relatively untrained apprentice, he should not be looking forward to potential combat with battle-hardened Sith. With thought, something occurred to Kian.
"Master," Kian began, but felt embarrassed about what he was about to say, "On Korriban, we are likely to face Sith are we not?" Kian asked, and looked down at the training saber in his hand.

Climbing into their small shuttle Layia smiled with amusement as she keyed in the coordinates of the temple. "No, we will most likely not face any Sith... No living ones at least." As the shuttle rose into the air she fixed her gaze on Kian before continuing.
"The Sith are long extinct. They have not been seen since the last great war where Darth Renatus and Grand Master L'eonheart squared off in combat. At least, that's what the archives say." She smirked slightly, thinking on the arrogance belonging to many of the Archival caretakers. "Clearly, that may not be the case. Still, this could be a case of a lone Dark Jedi, or a rogue cult perhaps."
Folding her arms under her chest she slid lower in her seat, getting more comfortable. While they shouldn't encounter any resistance on Korriban the planet itself was not without it's own set of dangers. It is a planet deeply rooted in the teachings of the Dark Side and many specters of the past may still present themselves.
"Make no mistake, it is, in itself, a dangerous planet... Whether inhabited or not."

Kian smiled and sighed, both with relief and also a little disappointment.
"Thank you for clarifying master, I'm afraid the Baron Do try to keep informed, but we are a somewhat isolated and tend to learn about the outside world only through rumor. The older sages often teased us with night-time stories of the Sith. It appears my imagination got the better of me." Kian said wondering if they were in fact as dead as the archives indicated.
He turned and looked out the viewpoint as the shuttle lifted off and had a sinking feeling he would be getting all the excitement he wanted and then some.
