Trey did not sence the evil this man senced, but he did feel... something. Something sweet and cool, soothing. Trey sudenly realised that this Jedi was creating these feelings, feelings like silk. "I don't trust ether of you". He turned to the man behind him. "And I don't know why you wan't me, or who you think I am, but try and take me by force, and-" Trey sudenly broke into a full sprint, headed streight for the ally in front of him.

The Sith Warrior looked at the Jedi, and then the boy. He smirked when he heard the Jedi speak.
" Trey, realize your power. Do not let this go to waste. Me and this Jedi can feel you in the force. Come with me, and take your fate. "
The boy suddenly took off running. The Sith Warrior took off running behind the boy. Looking behind to see if the Jedi was as well.

Jee-Kun rolled his eyes as Trey took off running.
Why do they always run, he thought to himself as he called on the Force. It seemed as if this happened to him all the time. The Council detached him to recruit someone, and half the time he ended up chasing them across planet, until finally they ran out of places to go and heard him out.
This dark man though was a new variably in an equation Vos was beginning to believe would never be solved differently. It made things interesting, exciting, and far less dull.
If Vos had it his way though he would be talking to recruits first, but the Council had its requirements.
Using the Force to strengthen his muscles and speed his reactions, Vos leapt after Trey and the other man, running as only a fleet footed Jedi could - as swiftly as the winds that blew across Vortex...

As Thane took the datapad from Aiden he felt a familiar hand grasp his. Grinning down at Teia he almost laughed despite the pain throughout his body and radiating from the arm she grabbed. "I can't get rid of you, can I kid?" Thane said with a joking lilt to his voice. Glancing back to the datapad he studied the coordinates carefully. "Yeah, I can get us there. It won't be easy but I'll manage." Thane's voice took on a fatigued quality, pondering how his day would have gone if Teia hadn't insisted they go to the academy. Slipping the datapad into his pocket he knelt over the fallen form of the Jedi Knight Astronicus. "Time to wake up, buddy." Thane muttered as he lifted a spice container from his belt and held it under the Jedi's nose. The effect was almost instant, Tron's eyes snapping open. As he did so tthe knights connection to the Force could almost be felt, like a fountain rushing out and over them. To Thane this was expected, quite a common trait amongst the L'eonheart bloodline. The feeling faded as Tron regained his control on his connection to the living force. "Am I mistaken... or did you punch me?" Tron questioned Thane with a stern glare. "Got no clue what your on about Jedi." Thane muttered as he helped him to his feet. On a personal level he would prefer to leave a Jedi out of their party, but they were both family--extended family mind you, but family none the less. Still, he wasn't going to tell this Jedi who he was. "Let's get moving. I got too many aches to be standing here reminded of their origin." Thane grumbled as he made his way back to the stolen ambulance. Upon ensuring everyone was aboard he climbed back into the cockpit. As he did so something felt off to him, no other word could describe it. It was a feeling akin to the one experienced when being watched. Glancing about the cockpit he fumbled with a few of the panels. Freeing a particularly uncooperative panel he found a small device with a light softly blinking. Letting out a loud Mando'a curse that would frighten young children Thane crushed the tracking device against the side panel. Activating the engines Thane lifted the ambulance off the ground, opening the viewport between the cockpit and the back cabin. "This is the Captain speeking. We may experience some slight turbulence and then - explode..." With that final comment Thane closed the port and focused on making it to the destination on the datapad. ((Posted from my X10 ))

The Sith warrior watched as the Jedi leaped over the boy and himself. Stopping in his tracks he looked at the Jedi Knight. Thinking his only chance to take this boy, he pulled out his lightsaber. The lightsbaer crystal was yellow, he did not want the Jedi Knight to know the Sith had not returned, but had been lurking in the shadows the whole time. The perfect time was on the way to reveal the Sith were existing in the galaxy, but was not his place to say. The Sith Warrior jumped in the air, front flipping to the Jedi Knight. Using the force he pulled huge rocks to attack the Jedi Knight, hoping he would catch him off guard.

Daedel looked over at Thane who held a cube of spice to a man's nose and caused her to scowl. She had been around that sort of thing for most of her life. It bothered her because of how many lives it had ruined, including her father's, when she had seen him hungover and suffering serious withdrawals that usually led to him abusing her because of the serious anger caused by lack of a fix. And then she had ended up helping sell the substances with others with the man that owned her as a slave. She generally refused to be around anyone that touched things like that anymore.
She helped Aiden into the ambulance and sat down. "How long will it take?" she asked Thane, eager to be on with their mission. They had already suffered enough detours and she hoped they wouldn't have anymore unexpected stragglers hassle them.

It was no time to be pleasant. Hundreds were murdered in a gruesome explosion and the catalyst for the attack by the thugs was one person's perversion.
Yet, while sitting in the back of the ambulance, Aiden took a moment to look onto the only person in the vehicle he had history with -- albeit, not much of one, but history nonetheless.
He looked over to Daedel and briefly stared into her large eyes inherent to Nautolans. It sent him momentarily in to a memory he had when he first met her in Professor Sol's history class. She sat in a corner surrounded by empty chairs. She was an obvious loner. Aiden was not necessarily unconfident when making friends, but he always saw Daedel as an egg with a hard-shell, never quite knowing how to crack it and even more unknown was the contents that would spill.
The hours since the explosion revealed so much about her to him, yet created even more questions. Who was this strong woman who fought with such grace and aggression. Why would she need to know how to fight like that. Yet, despite the violent thread that clearly ran through her core, she clearly showed her great compassion, one in which she seemed to generously share for Aiden.
He could see her thoughts were elsewhere and a deep anxiety simmered within her. He waited until her eyes glanced back at his.
"Who are you?" he said before cracking a gentle smile to alert her to the playful nature of the question.

Trey made it to a bend in the ally and slid around the corner, grabbing the closest hand hold as he went around. Using this he pulled him to a stop and flung him behind a jutting section of wall he pressed himself against it and crouched low, heart racing. When no one went rushing passed in pursuit he lowered himself to the ground and looked around the corner. Trey was astounded as he saw one of the men leap high in the air, flipping like an acrobat. Astonishment turned to utter amazement when a few chunks of rubble that had been resting next to a wall fly up into the air and rocket towards the man Trey had first spotted seemingly on the attackers command.

The section of the lower city the coordinates pointed to was one of serious disrepair. The broken and mangled buildings were just as much a threat as the Republic troops he had to avoid to get there. Seeing no real place to land he coaxed the ambulance onto a ledge, scraping against scrap metal as he forced into the ledge. Opening the viewport to the back Thane made sure everyone was in one piece.
"Watch your step, don't need anyone falling to their deaths." Thane warned them before hopping out of the cockpit, glancing about to get some idea why they were there. He felt the Jedi, Tron, get out of the ambulance before the others. He hadn't said a word since he woke up from Thane's punch. Thane wondered what he could be thinking. He wasn't suprised when he felt Tron's force signature searching the area about them. How easily Jedi lose sight of all their senses, he thought to himself, his reliance on the Force will get him killed one day.

The Nautolan felt as if she were being watched, and she shifted her large eyes on Aiden Kal. She couldn't help but allow her tentrils twitch in anxiety as the ambulance bounced and jerked along various alleyways as it descended into unknown territory.
She tilted her head as if questioning his question. Was it something that humans called a rhetorical question or was it a genuine question. With the smile, she realized that he seemed a bit calm so perhaps it was genuine. "I'm not sure I know what you mean. If you mean, who am I in what I do? Or who am I in my past? If it is the first, then you already know the answer. I am a student at the academy as you are. If it is the second... then perhaps we will have to discuss this at length another time."
She paused and turned the question back at him, recalling some of the recent events that had just transpired. "Who are you, Aiden Kal?"
She looked out a nearby viewport as the ambulance descended and "landed". She made her way in an agile manner off the transport, and checked the fuel cells in her blaster strapped to her side.

Aiden wasn't sure what to make of Daedel's response. He was leaning towards the fact that she just didn't understand human culture, but couldn't help but let his insecurity take over and feel like maybe she just didn't get him, and worse, had no interest in wanting to.
Nevertheless, he felt a bond with her based on this single occuring experience alone. He looked about the vehicle and saw a sea of strangers: a fire-weilding force user, the guy he knocked out and a kid who you'd never want to meet in a dark alley, literally. Who were these people and why were they here? But the same question goes for both he and Daedel.
The Lower City was already an unfamiliar place to Aiden. His parents taught him early never to venture too far down. There should never be a need for it. However, during his first year at the Academy, he ventured down only a few levels to get some "party" supplies. He saw the obvious dangers, but in that specific area, the inhabitants were more businesslike, scum, but professional scum.
But this level of the underworld is barely even talked about. Aiden heard they paid a high dollar to supervise maintainence droids and inspect their work because no one wanted the job.
The only ilumination came from what appeared to be century old sconces set equally apart. The dim lights showed their age. The smell was pungent and random sounds rang about.
When Aiden stepped off, he could see the passways were narrow and treacherous. It seemed like there was no bottom. Around them were huge masses of duracrete foundations for the sky scrapers above, though, given the appearance and condition of the structures, it was amazing that enormous pillars were able to carry such a load. Some of the duracrete looked to have holes in them, almost as if they had been burrowed through.
Even though Aiden questioned why he was here, he felt as if he knew this was the right destination.
"Do you guys see that?" Aiden pointed out some movement about 20 meters in front of them.

Thane turned towards the area Aiden had referenced. Squinting his eyes he could see a shape approaching through the darkness. It moved slowly, as if steered by a purpose he could only guess. Still, the sense of dread washing over him wasn't a good sign. Helis body tensed with apprehension as the shape, what appeared to be a cloaked and hooded being, moved out of the shadows and into the dim half-light of the lower city.
The hooded figure stopped, taking a slow sweeping glance at the group before it. Reaching up he lowered his hood, revealing the aged face of Erebus L'eonheart. "Firfiek!" Thane shouted in frustration as he gave caution to the wind and let his full connection to the Force flow free like a dam breaking.
"Thanatos L'eonheart..." Erebus spoke slowly, the trait of a man who has lived many ages and was in no particular hurry. Thane winced as his full name was used. The downside to having celebrated and famous ancestry was his family name was always known to others.
"Why aren't you with the Conclave... Father." Thane's voice was muted in anger, his teeth clenched.
"Stand down, boy!" Erebus' voice echoed with command, slamming a focused wall of Force into his son. Thane crossed his arms before him defensively, barely managing to redirect the Force wall around him as debris added to the cuts covering him. "You've improved." His father commented under his breath. "I was worried you had forgotten everything since you ran away."
"You're avoiding the question." Thane's growl cut through the reminiscent quality of Erebus' statement.
"I am here at Professor Sol's request... I trust its safe to assume you are not one of his students. Whom was sent here?" Erebus' voiced boomed with power, a slight electrical arc coursing over his hands in response.

Daedel Rysh felt the anxiety bubble from herself and Aiden Kal, it was growing thicker with each passing moment in the eerie echoes that rebounded off every surface nearby. Hardly any being with a brain came down this far towards Coruscant's surface unless they were seeking refuge or a fix they could not find on the higher levels.
"I didn't mean to sound harsh Aiden," she murmered, glancing over at him. This was her way of an apology. She hoped she had not offended him. In the past day or so, she had come to know him as a companion and he was probably one of the closest things she had to what might be deemed a friend. She was not very good at conversations or social ediquette, and she'd been told to lighten up on several occasions, from her slaver, to the Wookiee who had rescued her from slavery, to even some of the professors at the Coruscant Academy. Perhaps this was a result of growing up too fast, being brought up on "tough love", or simply characteristic in her personality. She had never tried to probe the answer.
Instinctively, Daedel moved slightly infront of Aiden, as if to shield her newfound companion and withdrew her vibrosword. The invisible phermones wafted through the air, full of anger and dark intentions, catching the Nautolan's attention. She looked to Thane who appeared to know the man as his father.
She gritted her teeth, and stood her ground, not knowing much about this man or the obvious force power he was able to command. "Daedel and Aiden." She stepped forward, introducing herself and her human friend, hoping that this is what Professor Sol had intended...

A quick nudge from the Force, and Jee-Kun felt the rocks being thrown at him from behind. Not having a chance to contemplate what this meant about the man with the dark Force presence, Vos reacted.
Jee-Kun was aided by gravity in his descent, and thankfully the first rock went over his head. While he was coming down out of his jump, he spun one hundred and eighty degrees to face the next rock and extended his hand, using the Force to harmlessly deflect the rock off to his right, making sure it skittered across the Coruscant paving to come to a halt against a building wall. Thankfully, no one was injured by the rock on its continued path.
As Vos landed he was surprised to see the dark man activate a yellow bladed lightsaber. What in the blazes was going on here? First, the man reeked of the dark side, and now he was wielding a Jedi's weapon. The Masters would want to see this, Vos thought, as he shrugged off his grey Jedi robe. It fell to the floor, crumpling in a pile as it did. His left hand triggered a holo-recorder on his belt, hoping to capture all of what was about to happen on it.
Through the Force, Vos could sense that Trey was watching them. Over his shoulder Vos yelled to the boy, without facing away from his opponent.
"Trey! This could get very dangerous. I suggest you contact the authorities, and if you can, more Jedi!"
Bending his knees lightly, Vos assumed a fighting stance, bringing his hands up, the left hand going forward of his body pointing toward his opponent with an open palm, and his right moving out to the side. Through the Force, Vos clipped his own lightsaber off his belt and brought it, spinning, into his right hand.
The snap hiss of his blade brought to life a bright green blade that lit the alley around him with a cascading light. The blade pointed down at the floor as Vos studied his opponent. He did not know how well trained the man was, or if he would be a serious threat. The facts pointed out that he would be - he was a Force user, and had a lightsaber. Summoning the Force to calm his mind, Jee-Kun readied his mind and body for what was about to follow...

Teia had stayed in the ambulance for a while, watching what was happening outside.
She watched with surprise as a man appeared, a man claiming to be Thane's father. She sighed wistfully, wondering what that must feel like. She'd never known her own father. Although the kindly Ojom who had looked after her for all those years had become like a father figure, he had still been vastly different to her and it had been obvious to the young girl that he had not been her father. Still she had loved him, and loved him still. She started to wonder what he was up to, probably cooking another delicious...
Her thoughts were interrupted by Thane's father suddenly attacking his son. Before she could do anything to help her friend though, Thane defended himself and the conversation continued as normal. What a strange thing, Teia thought.
Deciding it best to get out the ambulance, Teia got out, but was slightly frightened by the scary man who had appeared. Instead of crossing to Thane, she stood at a distance from him, near the Nautolan and Aiden, her eyes wide open and watchful...
