((sorry had a lot to do))
Vos jumped downward at the dark figure. The Sith warrior grinned looking at Vos, as he was picking up speed. Jumping up as well the two force users met in the air. Vos attempted to throw a blow at the sith. He did not see it coming and landed the attack. Flying into the dirt on the ground. The dark man just sighed.
" You have been trained well. " The Sith jumped up, latching his lightsaber to his ring.
" This battle is over Jedi, however we will meet again."
The dark figure quickly rushed away. Running away from the fight, he was cutting corners as quick as possible.

The Wookiee Jedi Master cut a corner, and heard the clatter of Republic troops hopping and gathering on the pavement behind her. She rushed behind a few more corners of a building towards the area where she sensed Vos' presence and managed to catch a glimpse of a dark figure rushing the opposite way. She was not the impulsive type to rush head long into a conflict she knew nothing about, however the message from Vos had seemed urgent, and it was from a fellow Jedi Knight, so she had followed the request without hesitation. However, rushing an enemy into further darkness was not wise when one did not know this area very well.
She moved over towards Jedi Vos and put a comforting hand on his shoulder. <"Are you alright Vos?"> She asked in Shyriiwook. She always kept a translater screen on her utility belt to translate her native tongue to Galactic basic or whatever language others comprehend to facilitate easier conversation.

Vos landed lightly on his feet after landing his attack. He was surprised to see his attacker suddenly stop the fight and flee.
As Vos was getting ready to go after the man, he sensed Master Jess arrive. Sighing to himself he deactivated his lightsaber and clipped the silver hilt to his belt. Using the Force he pulled his robes that had been dropped not far off to him, and shrugged them on.
As Jess came closer, Jee-Kun offered a respectful bow.
"Master, thank you for coming."
Vos paused a moment, thinking about everything he had just seen and witnessed. This was a most distressing turn of events.
"Master, I believe we may have some trouble on our hands. That man... was pure evil..."[/b][/color]

Dax had grinned at Vos's words, remembering. As Jee-Kun propelled himself into the air Dax had raced forwards, aiming to get behind their opponent, but had not expected the dark stranger to leap forwards himself. He cursed himself for not being prepared, and spun 180 degrees to where he thought they would land, but Vos batted the man out of the sky, leaving him lying in the dirt. Dax gave chase as he fled, but very soon he could no longer sense the unknown assailant. He made his way back to the others, arriving to hear Jee-Kun speak to Jess.
"I very much feel this is something the council would want to hear about." He paused for a moment and looked at Vos. "At least we're not being chased by some dug crime lord's pet nexu again."

Jedi Master Wa'jessh (Jess) nodded in Vos's direction. <"The Council shall indeed be informed of this dark assailant and will probably expect a full briefing from you Knight Vos."> Her eyes dimmed as she became thoughtful. <"The Council will be having to make several difficult decisions as a result of everything that's gone on in the short period of time lately.">
The Wookiee snapped her gaze back over to Vos's communicator which was crackling. <"We have a transport not far from here if you want to leave and let the Council know what has transpired.">

Jee-Kun Vos nodded. He would most definitely speak to the Council.
Thankfully everything had been captured on his holo-recorder. Thumbing it to stop recording, Vos activated his comm and spoke into it, sending a message to Battlemaster D'Hara.
As he spoke to followed the Wookiee rescuer...
"Master D'Hara. I have encountered a dangerous foe, but he has escaped before he could be apprehended for questioning. I am on my way to the Council to report immediately."

Kian scanned the area with his eyes, but he also reached out with the force as a defensive precaution. His combat experience, though better than some, was not well honed. His main goal was to not get taken by surprise. Kian was silent, he did not want to interrupt his master, who he was sure would be using the force to track the missing Jedi. Kian rested his hand on his training hilt, the blade would not do much in a fight, but he would be able to defend himself.

The trip from the temple to the location of the encounter had been a long one. It had been trying on her patience but afforded Laiya time to reflect. It was doubtful that any of the participants had left a trace but it was their best bet. As they arrived she could feel her apprentice reach out with all of his senses, something she realised she wouldn't have to teach him after all. With a subtle smile she scanned with her own abilities, looking for something, anything, that would give them a clue as to where to go. Tracing the alleys she could almost see the battle that had occurred, faint images shifting in and out of focus before her.
Finding the final area before the attacker broke off Layia came to the conclusion she would have to utilize a higher level of tactics. Turning to Kian she spoke in her usual, commanding way without sounding forceful. "Keep an eye out, don't lose track of your senses. I must use a deep meditation technique and I fear it will take some time." Turning her gaze back before her she adjusted the skirt of her robes as she knelt into her meditative position.

"Of course, master." Kian said bowing his head as a sign of understanding. He understand what he was being asked to do, and didn't want to fail.
Kian began to scan the area, both with the force, and also with his eyes. The lower city was nothing like the upper areas of Coruscant. Everything was dirtier looking, and there was an absence of life...visually. Through the force, the lower city felt just as alive as the upper city of Coruscant had. Kian felt uneasy. There was something out there, he couldn't pin it down, but he felt a chill that the weather couldn't explain.
Kian turned his gaze towards his master. He could feel the force swirling around her as she knelt serenely.

Layia wasn't one to use the Force in means outside of combat, but as a Master she was more than able to do so. She began by giving herself over to the Living Force via an Empty Meditation. Her senses stretched out to the world around her with sudden clarity. She could feel the ripples of what had transpired, visualizing the events as they had unfolded. Her brow creased in consentration as she tried to push further, get to the answers she sought. Unfortunately she was only able to see what had occurred, the origin and departure of the Dark Jedi was hidden to her. Letting out a long, steady sigh Layia attempted something she had only done once before, and frankly it frightened her.
As her features became calm once more Layia's body began to shift without moving. Slowly at first her hair and clothing began to flutter and rise into the air. Invisible to others but clear to a Force practitioner a glow began to solidify around her as she levitated into the air. Rising Meditation was it's name, a state of conciousness that put the user into commune with the Undying Force. What was so frightening for the Jedi Master was that the Force had a will, of that there was no doubt, and you can never predict what it will show you. Suddenly her body convulsed and with a sudden gasp she came crashing to the ground.

Kian had been watching a small, rat-like creature picking at some garbage when he felt something strange ripple through the force and shortly afterwards heard the thud of his masters body hitting the permacrete floor. Kian spun around, igniting his training blade as he did. He saw his master on the ground, but focused on scanning the area around them. He didn't feel danger in the force, nor did he see anyone around. Slowly he walked towards his masters body, focusing on the area. When he was a foot or so away from her he turned his attention to his master, but kept his saber ignited and raised in a defensive position.
"Master? Master are you ok?"

Through gasps of air Layia clutched the ground, tears dropping from the shock of what she had just experienced. Glancing up at her apprentice she smiled in answer to his concern. "I'm fine, it's just... There is such turmoil in the Force..." Slowly rising to her feet she reached out for Kian's shoulder, seeking support. Shakily at first she found her balance and let out a controlled sigh. " I didn't find exactly what I was looking for... But at least now we have a starting point."
Pushing a stray hair behind her ear she smiled once more before shaking off the shock to her system. She didn't know much about being a master, but she had heard that with time they should form a bond. For now, they would get to know one another in other ways, through their sabers. It was a long trip ahead of them, and there would be plenty of time for learning.

Kian tried to smile back at his master, but he felt uneasy. He considered questioning her more about what she experienced, but he stopped himself. He didn't wish to push her.
"What is this starting point?" Kian asked, wondering what his master had learned. He had hoped that her experience, though seemingly painful, would have lead to some conclusion on what was to be done.

"Well, not really a surprise but... It seems we shall be making our way to Korriban." Layia closed her eyes, shaking off the darkness she had felt in the Undying Force. "I feel I must warn you, there have been strange occurrences in the Force of late. Even those long past have sent warnings."
Layia ensured she had her padawan's gaze before continuing. "I need you to pay attention, anything out of the ordinary must be noted. I fear we have dark times ahead." Turning back towards the route they took to make it to the Lower City she began to send commands back to the Temple. A transport would be made ready for their arrival, and they would be departing Coruscant as soon as they returned. Before she left she would need to inform the Council of her movements, but she didn't have to be on world to tell them anything. That way they couldn't stop her from going where she planned.
