The streets of Coruscant are alive with the hum of the masses moving about, as if the streets themselves were alive.

Thanatos L'eonheart, or Thane as he's known in the shadier parts of Coruscant, checked the displays on his custom Swoop racer one last time. His family history had a penchant for possessing interesting relationships with technology and he was not one to take chances. Thane was elbow deep in random mechanics and could feel the grease soaking into the sleeves of his jacket.
Leaning forward an extra inch to get a better view he was suddenly launched forward by a nearby explosion, resulting in a rather comical appearance as his legs dangled out of the swoop racer.

A young blond girl was sitting on a crate a few paces away idle swinging her legs back and forth. She watched the man who was busy with his swoop, and was finding it quite entertaining.
She was dressed in the rags of most street children, but her long blond hair was clean and neatly braided in a plat that hung to above her waist. The lilac poncho she wore covered was obviously a newer item of clothing, and not nearly in the bad condition of her other clothing. It covered most of the dirty scruffy clothes beneath it.
As the explosion rocked the man into his swoop, the little girl let out a peal of laughter...

With a chorus of grumbles best suited for more weathered ears Thane pulled himself from the confines of his swoop's internal workings. His messy brown hair framed a now even darker face aw grease dripped slowly down his pale features. With one last sigh Thane ran his hand through his hair, grumbling a little more.
A nearby burst of laughter caught his attention, setting his most unamused glare on a most curiously dressed street kid.
"Didn't they tell you not to laugh at others, kid?" Thane almost growled through his teeth as his gaze shifted back towards the source of the explosion. The Academy was alight with flames and thick smoke. Don't get involved, Thane, nothing good ever comes from getting involved, he thought to himself as he attempted to wipe the grease from his face.

The girl was about to reply to the man who seemed most unfriendly when she noticed what had caused the blast. The Academy had been the source of the explosion.
Not sure what to do, and a little frightened by the sudden chaos erupting around her, the little girl ran over to the man by the swoop.
"Mister, I'm sorry I laughed at you," she said, her tone far more sombre now than seconds before. With barely a pause she added, "What happened to the academy?

"Apology accepted, kid." Thane's voice was more mellow this time, the embarassment of the situation gone. Leaning back against his swoop Thane crossed his arms, fixing his grey eyes on the academy.
"I got no idea, but it's not my problem."
Though I got a feeling your gonna make it mine, he thought grimly.

The little girl looked from the man to the building and back again. It seemed to her as if he had no intention of doing anything about it. She look at the building again, and noticed that most people were either busy getting away from it, or simply pretending as if nothing happened. She turned her head back to the man, and stared at him for a bit.
"Mister, it may not be your problem, but who's problem is it? Look, everyone is just standing around or ignoring it. There could be people hurt mister!"
Her voice rose with this last sentence, clearly indicating that if something did not happen to change the situation soon she might begin to act her age, and burst out into tears...

Thane eyed the little girl carefully, studying her features as her threat took root. He would rather avoid getting involved, but somehow he felt that dealing with a crying girl was far removed from his base of knowledge. It was one of those hated times to choose the lesser of two evils. With a deep sigh Thane threw his hydrospanner into his toolbox and kicked off from his swoop.
"You win, kid, we'll take a look and see what there is to see."
Shoving his greasy hands in his pockets Thane began walking towards the academy, not in any particular rush.
"Just try and keep close, don't go disappearing on me."

The little girls smile seemed to swallow her face, growing from ear to ear. She skipped along happily towards the man, until she was close enough to him, when she reached up with her tiny little hand and grasped his hand which she noticed was covered in oil and grease. But she didn't care because she had made a friend, a friend who would help people.
"You won't regret this mister... and I promise I won't go anywhere without telling you"
She added dutifully as they made their way towards the academy. She had a feeling that something big was happening, something that could be very important in the eyes of big people...

Raziel stepped out of his ship and checked his datapad to make sure it was secure. He thought it might be little much for him to wear his helmet aswell as his beskar'gam so it was clipped to his belt. His father always told him that he should never hide who he is, so what better way to show the Jedi his background then showing up to a meeting with the council in his beskar'gam though he had assumed they might take black the wrong way he'd just have to explain that where he is from it means the pursuit of justice. He walked along into federation square looking across the sky lanes, he'd find somewhere to stay close to the temple and the go for his meeting with the council in the morning. He found a room in a small hotel above a tap caf, once in his room Raziel took of his armour and sat down and prepared his mind the way his mother told him, and soon he could feel the life around him, without realizing he and other small objects in the room were floating and he continued to focus on nothing but the flow of the force. It didn't take long but his concentration was broken but the passing of a memory but it was enough he and the other things in the room crashed to the floor and he quickly got up and put all his armor back on including his helmet and recorded a message to his wife and sent it. Then he just leaned back against the wall and drifted slowly to sleep.

Raziel awoke feeling refreshed and a little nervous after all it wasn't every day that you entered the Jedi temple dressed in a full suit of beskar'gam, after a short meal he walked out of the hotel and towards the temple thinking if anything else today will definitely be interesting he paused at the steps to the temple and removed his helmet and clipped it back on his belt now the fun begins and begun the climb

Jedi Knight Dax Valoran raced along a walkway high among the spires of Coruscant's world-city, dodging through the crowd and yelling ahead to warn people to move out of the way. He projected an aura of urgency through the Force, some of which was almost unintentional: a fellow Jedi - a friend and campaign buddy of his, no less - was in trouble.
Reaching the spot his datapad had marked out he dashed for the edge of the walkway and leapt from it to the gasps of passers-by, falling several levels but landing lightly and sprinting away. He cut through alleys and jumped down through Coruscant's myriad walkways and traffic lanes several more times before reaching the city's lower levels. His progress felt slow and sluggish, and he knew if he didn't find some way to move faster that he would be too late. Glancing around he noticed a biker's bar, complete with an assortment of speederbikes in front. Silently promising to bring it back later, he picked out one of the faster models and tripped the ignition using the Force. Revving up the engine he slewed it around and raced away, dodging through traffic and obstacles as only a Jedi in a hurry could...

The barabel turned his attention away from piloting the shuttle and stared at Trey in silence for a considerable amount of time. Finally letting go of the force bubble he had held up around them as it was really beginning to tire him out. "You're right". He rasped. The shuttle suddenly lurched downwards into an almost vertical fall as the reptillian weaved through traffic at high speed and as suddenly as they had started their descent it stopped and he brought it to a lurching stop on top of a public building.
Spinning around in his seat to face Trey the Barabel crossed his arms over his chest and stared the human down. "So, ask away". He said as he awaited the barrage of questions that Trey certainly had milling about in his head.

The flight had dislodged his stomich and left it somewhere behind his ears. Trey had been with some crazy piolts in his life, but nothing like this. Took a deep breath, trying to sort out his questions. "Who are you? Why did you save me? Where are you from? Are you a Jedi? Will you let me leave or are you kidnaping me? How did you fly so fast and not crash? Would you have killed those men back there and what is your name?"
The questions came spilling out of Treys mouth before he could cut them off. "Do you know how I was able to throw that guy away from me? Do you know what species I am? How can I see without eyes?" Trey took another breath, then asked a final question. "Are you going to kill me?"
