Trey was in an ecstasy of concentration. The world was lights and sounds and colour. He was tracing the footsteps of his pray and was excited. He followed the footsteps to the edge of a body of a lake, the water lapping steady against the shoreline. Trey came to a lurching halt, actually swaying with the force of it. “Here it is, this is where the footsteps end”. Bitter disappointment filled Trey. “I’m sorry, I can’t find another trace of them, there is nothing I…” He broke off, looking past Kull’s shoulder. A flash of inspiration crossed his young face. “Kull, Credit stations, you know the ones that let you transfer credits to your bank, Do they have cameras in them?”

Kull nodded. "They do indeed, thiz one waz going to go back to the bomb site and obtain security footage from any and all cameras nearby". He explained. "How can you no longer track them"? He asked curiously, eager to understand Treys abilities. "In any case we will obtain copiez of the security footage and take it back to the temple". The Barabel explained.

Treys face flushed with embarisment. "I don't know, the trail sudenly ends, right here by the edge of the water". He frowned. "Maybe they swam up? I don't know". Trey started to follow Kull then had a sudden idea. "Can I look around the city market while we are here?"

Kull stared into the water for a few moments and hissed in frustration. "Yes, survey the marketplace while I go and attend to the business of aquirring security camera footage from the central business district". The Barabel Jensaarai Defender rasped. "I will meet you back at the ship in half an hour". With that the Barabel turned and plodded off down the streeet back to the central business district. It didn't take him long to infiltrate several buildings that were home to survelliance cams that had view arching views of the square. With the aid of the force he manipulated his way into the security rooms of a bank, insurance agency and a local Corsec beat and obtained copies of footage for an hours before and after the explosion and downloaded the files onto a data chip. He then made sure that no one would remember seeing him and casually strode out of the central business district and back to the citys shipping port, arriving to the place where his shuttle was waiting with ten seconds to spare before the half an hour time limit was up. The Barabel casually waited and looked around for Trey, hopefully the lad had found some useful information. As for himself he was eager to get this data chip back to the temple to be analysed.

Trey wandered this exotic landscape of stalls, people and animals. There were many things here he had never seen, and he made his way through the stalls, browsing here and there, keeping his ears open. As he passed a stall filled with mounds of different meats, he heard a small snippet of conversation, "...and they might have come from the water front". Trey changed his direction and walked over to the stall beside the butchers. He looked through the assortment of beaded bags and jewellery, listening intently "... inside Job, it must have been someone quite high up. Who else lives there but the rich folk and politicians". The other man made a grunting sound "you really think a politician would be stupid enough to organise and launch an attack like this from his house?” As the butcher considered, Trey had a sudden flash. He waited until just the right time, and then walked right out and into a passing shopper. The man gave a grunt of surprise and Trey reeled back, a little to forceful for the collision. "woa there son"! The butcher said as Trey bumped into him and then onto the table. "beter watch where your goin". Trey looked up sheepishly. "yeah I guess, sorry mister, I didn't see that guy". Trey got up and walked off, fingering the 5 sticks of dried meat he had managed to lift from the table and the small, rectangular box he had taken from the butcher.
5 minutes later he was back at the ship. He walked up to Kull and handed him a paper he had found on a park bench. "this mornings, report on the explosion page 3" He grinned as he handed two of the strips of meat out to Kull. "Here, I hope you can eat it, better than the canned stuff you have on board anyway".

(Sorry about the delay.)
Kull spotted Trey as he came towards the ship through the thin crowd of pedestrians going about their business. The Barabel took the newspaper and the two strips of meat in the other hand as he brought them up to his snout and sniffed them curiously. His forked tongue eagerly licked his pebbly lips then with one swift motion he popped both strips of meat into his mouth and chewed them vigioriously before gulping them down with a satisfied grin. "Good, fresh". He rasped flashing a wide smile that showed off dozens of needle sharp teeth. The Barabel then glanced at the paper then looked back to Trey. "Thiz one obtained the security footage that we need". He informed him. "Our work here is done for now, we will return to the temple to conduct our report and continue your training". "But first, tell thiz one did you manage to learn anything from the marketz"? He asked.

Trey pulled a small strip of the meat off his remaining piece and popped it into his mouth as they walked into the ship. "The man who owned the stall the meat came from was talking to a customer when I passed. He said the attack came from the water front like we though." Trey paused to swallow, then started to work another strip off the side. "Only political people and rich people by the water front. The houses are to expensive and grand for anyone else Pig swine baStARDS, burn in hell." Treys face drained of color, he stumbled and caught Kulls arm to keep himself up. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I said that last part, it just came out!" He looked troubled. (( About time man! Jeez ))

Kull listened intently as Trey filled him in on the details of what he'd learnt from hid eavesdropping as they boarded the ship and he began the power up sequence. He paused at Treys outburst and looked sideways at the young man curiously, coking his head to one side in perplexed curiosity. The Barabel hissed softly then resumed going over the preflight checks. Saying nothing of Trey's outburst he assessed the information that Trey came across silently in his head as his clawed hands worked over the control panel and his eyes took in all the data readout's and diagnostics of the ships status.
"So either these people were financed and supported by someone with a lot of power and creditz who ownz a home on the waterfront or they are in possession of resources provided to them by someone, knowingly or not". The Barabel mused out loud. "We will return to the temple for now to conduct our report and further your training, hopefully the analysis of the security tapes can provide uz with some more cluez". Kull said as he completed the ships preflight check list and brought the shuttle rising into the air and up through the sky towards the planets atmosphere. "If they rented the property, we should still be able to track them down without too much trouble". He commented.

Trey sat in his chair, cross legged and gnawing on the last little piece of his Jerky. He was still shaken by what had burst unexpectedly from his mouth, but excitement overshadowed his unease. More training, becoming more useful, more in tune with this force. The force, He thought as he strapped himself in. It’s a real thing, like Kull or me, Alive. He shivered slightly and hugged his knees to his chest. It was then he remembered the small box he had taken from the man in the market. He slid it out of his pocket and looked at the picture on the front. A brown cylinder about the length of his finger and as thin as a pencil. The word 'Urshaw' adorned the top and under that, 'unfiltered'. Trey took one of the tubes from the pack and looked at it with interest. There was a small cap on the top and the whole thing was wrapped in some sort of paper. Trey slid it back into the box and then into his pocket. "How long will it take to get to the temple?" he asked as they slid into the flow of traffic.

"Not too long, about a week permitting good travel conditions and no delays". Kull responded without so much as a sideways glance at Trey in the passengers seat as he focused his attention on bringing his shuttle up through the atmosphere of Corellia and prepared to make the jump to hyperspace. Several minutes of silence later Kull spoke suddenly once more. "Hold on to your hatz". The Barabel rasped with a hiss of amusement as he engaged the hyperdrive and the shuttle leapt into hyperspace, the field of stars in front of them streaking past the ships forward viewport in a awe inspiring haze of light.
