Trey Carter had been in a deep confusing sleep. Filled with tall, black hooded men sitting in chairs made of bone and barbed wire, telling him to leave, to leave and never come back and... He jurked from his sleep, and looked up as Kull pulled his head back.
He rose, shaking off sleep with a physical effort. He found clean clothing in his bag, and slid his blade into the sheeth he had woven into the sleeve. His small tool kit he put into his jacket pocket. He tied the last knot in his boots tight and then steped out of the bedroom. Out the front window he saw various ships and people moving around. Off to one side there was a large transporter ship with 'Coronet shipping' on the side. "We are on Coronet? has this got anything to do with the terrorist stuff going on here?"

Kull nodded enthusiastically, grinning widely. "Yez, yez, you're powers of obsveration serve you well". The Barabel rasped. "We are here to investigate what happened and gather intelligence, galactic security iz a seriouz concern for the Jensaarai". He explained. The Jensaarai Defender had put plain black clothes and a matching cloak on over his armour so he appeared to be a normal spacer running errands of some sort. He had the necessary fake ID's to back up his story incase any authorities stopped to question him, despite their secrecy the Jensaarai were well connected. "While we are here you must decide for certain if you are going to join the Jensaarai". Kull went on.
"Once one joins uz, there iz no leaving, you join the Jensaarai it iz a commitment that you honour until death". "Thus such decisions cannot be taken lightly". He added clipping his lightsaber to his belt, the weapon being easily concealed within the cloak that he wore. "Coincidently you're ability to see through the force may be of great assistence to discovering what occured here". Kull said with another grin. "Thiz one waz on Coruscant investigating the terrorist attack there before he recieved hiz assignment to find you". The Barabel explained. "It iz reasonable to believe that the two attackz are related". "We must find out who, how and why so that they can be stopped before any more innocents die".
The Jensaarai Defender relunctantly placed his helmet in a storage locker and retrieved a DL-44 Blaster pistol from it and handed the gun to Trey. "Just incase". He said simply then turned and led the way out of the shuttle and onto the streets of Coronet.

Trey took the blaster pistol and took a few seconds to admire it. It was a well-made piece of hardware, not like the junk pistols you found in the lower city. Those toys where just as apt to explode in your hand then fire. Tucking the pistol into a side pocket of his bag (He had no other place to conceal a weapon of that size) He hurried out of the shuttle, closed the door behind him to walk beside Kull.
The space port was much more elegant than any he had ever seen. Filled with private ships and public transports, small speeders and even a docked military craft. The pilots walked around, talking to one another and scanning goods for sale at the merchant’s stalls. The hustle and bustle was different to the trading hot spots in the lower city. Here there was yelling but no aggression, there was dickering but no desperation or disappointment. However no one stayed still for long, and there was a feeling of... something. Everyone seemed, unsettled, disturbed and jumpy. Then a pilot noticed Trey and the look he gave him was no in the least friendly.
Trey pulled closer to Kull’s side and walked with his eyes straight ahead of him. "where are we going?" he asked.

((I emphatically apologize for dropping off the face of the earth. Here again))
Avayl stood on the roof of a building not two blocks from the capitol building. The flames had been snuffed out by the massive amount of soot and debris. Sweet dripped from his body. Avayl gasped for breath as his arms and legs adjusted to being still once again. The run had been two miles between buildings, speeders, and enormous heights. They had almost lost a man in the run . . . but Tyrel had come in for them on the home stretch.
He closed his eyes and removed the past from his mind. He focused now on the present, where he was and all that was around him. Spreading outward a sort of hyper awareness entered his consciousness and his inner eye turned outward. FEAR . . . Panic, sweet sweet despair. He licked his lips with a moist tongue. The emotions of others swarmed at him with no limit. An entire city filled with people and their emotions of terror. This was bliss. He didn't know why this was happening or how he was feelings these things but he knew that these emotions were not his own. Yet it was so easy to identify with the people below him. He saw why they were terrified but felt none of it for himself. A slight snicker escaped his lips. Such little lives to be ruled by their emotions
The sweet was drying and he could feel this stiffness in his limbs. The wind blew at his face and flapped his cloak. The police force was well on their way to containing the scene. He looked at his watch, only two hours since the bombs went off. There was a green light on next to his watch. Capi's signal that all was clear and the money was deposited. The ran de vu point was a spot on the map almost five clicks west of him. Each were to make their way to the spot and get off planet by sundown, together. But Avayl was not going with them. He had his own plans for getting off planet and he would not be meeting up with them. That job, the capitol building, was his last with Capi and the crew. He had been through enough with them to know that their next would be their last. His next stop, there was a military transport headed for Tattooine. They always get clearance to pass blockades and as of one hour ago all civilian transport was grounded.
Avayl turned and left the rooftop. He made for the military transport and stowed away inside one of the cargo crates. The transport entered Hyperspace.

"To the site of the terrorist attack". Kull said softly to Trey so that no one else overheard. Amongst the hustle and bustle of the busy spaceport he doubted anyone would overhear them anyway, but he liked to always practise caution anyway, just incase. A few people glanced in their diection, the appearance of a Barabel having roused their curiousity, but none of them looked twice or lingered their gaze for too long. Nobody wanted to earn a Barabels ire. "Act natural, we don't want to draw any unwanted attention or suspecion". Kull advised Trey as they walked along the long wide street, landspeeders buzzed past in both directions and the Jensaarai Defender briefly toyed with the idea of hailing a taxi to take them the eight blocks to the city center. But dismissed it, they would walk, the exercise would do them good, plus two strangers arriving from off world wanting to visit the sight of a recent terrorist attack might earn them the attention of Corsec, something they didn't need.
The Barabel spotted two Verpine spacers exiting a cantina and growled upon meeting their gaze, his eyes narrowing into slits. He would have loved nothing more than to dive into a fist fight with the insectoids, a hobby popular amongst Barabels the galaxy over. But his training as a Jensaarai and the purpose of his mission over rode his natural instincts. So instead he stared the two of them down until they had passed out of sight, the Verpine not daring to take their eyes off the reptillian alien. He opened himself to the force and took in the sights and sounds of the city. Life had resumed as normal, but there was still a sense of tension and uneasyness in the air, with a certain amount of fear and sadness thrown into the mix.
The Barabel lead the way through the streets. "Keep your eyez open for anything or anyone suspeciouz". He rasped. They finally came upon the site of the recent attack and the capitol building that was currently under going repairs. Kull stopped suddenly across the street from the building and turned to face it. He reached out with the force, touching anything and everything in sight to get a feel for what had happened here. The same emotions he had felt at the spaceport existed here, but were stronger and more pronounced. "What do you see"? He asked Trey. Curious as to whether or not the young mans abilities could tell him anything more than what he already knew. The terrorists hadn't been caught thus far and had gotten in and out without being identified or hindered in the process. It was a professional job that went off without a hitch, and they had escaped immediately after and fled the area, and no doubt the planet. He could judge that much from what he felt in the force. He felt something else too, something he couldn't quite pin down, but whatever it was it reeked of the "dark side", making the Barabel hiss in anger. This was not a simple terrorist attack, there was more to it and he was determined to discover what.

the building had been bombed, that much was clear to Trey, but he thought that Kull wasn't talking about that. He wanted Trey to see something else. He tryed to look deeper, and felt a sick feeling in the back of his throat. He pushed a bit harder, trying to look into the building. The feeling was comming from in front of him, but it was blocked, "can we walk around the building?" Trey asked.

Kull nodded once. "Yes, letz". The Barabel gestured from Trey to lead the way and followed closely a meter or so behind him. He sniffed the air and his tongue flicked out instinctively tasting the anticipation and fear that still lingered in the air. Even though it appeared to be calm and peaceful on the surface, below a deep sense of fear and uneasyness penetrated through the force, making the Barabels scales twitch. "Can you feel it"? He asked Trey. "Fear, the city iz rank with it". "These one'z are afraid of another attack". He commented, glancing around at the people that passed them by, his hunters instincts sharp, alert and ready for anything. The Barabels tail swished from side to side in excitment as he licked the air once more, the closer they got to the building the stronger the feelings became. Death and despair surrounded the whole area and nowhere was it stronger than within the building itself.

Trey was looking the signs around the building when it hit him. A wave of deep fear, it was thick as oil and a poison purple. The smell of it seeped into his nose like the smell of anchent cheese, rancid. He gagged almost fell, keeping himself up by pure will. He managed to shift the sence of wrongness to the back of his mind and look objectivly. The color was everywhere, like a thin growth of pond scum. peverting the people around him. But the building was the worst. A red pulse, very mild but still there was settled on the buildings surfice.
"I can see the darkside, on the building" Trey said. His voice was flat and devoid of emotion. "The people are fearful, they reek of it. Inside the building, and back here". Trey shook his head. "One does not need to be the sith to have the dark side in them right? evil people, bad people, they have the darkside to right"?

((BTW this all goes towards your training too, so its not for no reason.))
"Right". Kull rasped in agreement. "The dark side iz just another name for evil, evil being something that iz created by sentinents through their negative actions". He explained. "Open yourself to the force, can you feel the many conflicting emotions"? He asked. "Fear, uncertainty, confusion, despair, anger, hate". Kull stopped and waited for a minute to give Trey a chance to do it. "Can you see the path the terrorists took"? He asked, not knowing himself the extent of Trey's abilities. The Jensaarai Defender had heard stories of certain force using groups across the galaxy, some of them could not just see through space and time, but also communicate across it as well. And others could see the impressions individuals left in the force, impressions of darkness and evil tended to stand out significantly, from what he had come to understand.
He didn't know if Trey posessed this ability, or even if Trey knew if he did himself. Regardless they would soon discover if he did. Kull also wanted to get hold of some security holo's while he was here, surely there would be something caught on camera that would be of their benefit in hunting down those responsible.

(( I figured, and no worries, for the next long while I will follow you like a good little student )) Trey groped for the force, and felt it tickle the outside edge of his mind. Had he looked deeper, been more patent, he might have felt the natural force. But here interference was to great, to many people polluting the air with their feelings. Although the more he tasted, the more he adjusted. He was open to every good and bad emotion. They were weak, He knew no more than the shadows of shadows, but he could still feel them. Then he saw something, brief flickers of color, flashing in front of him. "I saw something!" he said excitedly, looking into kulls eyes, his own overbrimming with the mist of emotion he had been observing. "It was like nothing I have ever" He broke off. "How long have I been standing here?"

"About fifteen minutez, thiz one tried slapping you but it didn't work". Kull rasped with a look of concern. "What did you see"? He asked eagerly, his tail wagging back and forth in excited anticipation as he licked the air with his forked tongue.

Trey dismissed Kull's teasing and turned back to the building. "this, red flicker, it was someone who wasn't here, but I could see, a ghost of them or something..." He broke off. Took a deep breath. And started again. "I opened my mind to the force, and started to see the colour you put off around everyone. Slight shadows of colour really." He paused, scanning the road in front of him. "then I saw a smudge, it was like paint rubbed off in thin air. And it had a human form". Trey walked over to where the smudge had been. He looked towards the building in front of them. "It was headed in this direction".

Kull hissed softly to himself about his joke then listened intently as Trey explained what he saw. The Barabel licked his lips thoughtfully. "Can you follow it"? He rasped eagerly following closely behind Trey his hunters instincts alert and ready to begin the hunt. He rubbed his hands together eagerly as his tongue flicked the air, tasting the pheramones that clung to it. "Ooh it'z been so long since thiz one engaged in a good hunt".

Trey took a few steps forward, holding out his hands and concentrating on the shadow in front of him. He saw a pale imitation of a face, and then movement. The red smear was gone. Then back, then gone. Trey realised he was watching the figure move forwards, through him now and then into the building ahead of him, through a side entrance. He looked past the shadow figure in front of him and saw red footsteps glowing faintly on the ground. They had a sense of direction and porous, and occasionally he saw a shadow figure filling the prints with feet and legs and body and mind. He grinned back at Kull, a smile that was all teeth. He didn’t know if it was right, but he liked the cold propose. The feeling of being on a trail, of hunting. “it’s faint, and I can’t see it all or even enough to be really sure. But I think it is heading that way.” Trey pointed back along the faint shimmering red smear in the air. “It’s as if there porpoise and hate marked the air, I can see where there feet hit the ground.” Trey started to walk along the footprints on the ground. And was so intent on the trail he was bowled over by a passing man. “Watch where the hell you’re going!” the man bawled, staggering with the crate he was caring in both arms, his ruddy face was pocked marked and his mouth full of dark teeth.

Kull couldn't see the footprints, but if he focused hard on the force and his hunters instincts he could feel the impressions the men left behind in force, blemishes upon a perfect canvas. He followed Trey eagerly sniffing the air as he went, licking his lips in excitement. Hunting the prey was almost as fun as engaging them, almost but not quite. The Barabel hissed menacingly at the man that yelled at trey and the stranger cast a wary glance in the reptillians direction before he backed off, not wanting to make trouble with an alien that could tear him to pieces with its bare hands. "Follow the trail until it ends". He insisted as they make their way out of the central business district.
