The Soft Heart Cantina was a cantina located in Grid 19 of the Southern Underground of Imperial Center.
During 2 BBY, it burned down along with an entire city block, the cause officially atributed to arson. While fire suppressors were supposed to protect the uninsured cantina, these mysteriously failed.
The owner, Memah Roothes, and her bouncer, Rodo, agreed to transfer to another location owned by the Galactic Empire to work a new military cantina.
Many years later, the Soft Heart was reopened for business by a wealthy entrepreneur who had spent many found evenings at the cantina.

A lonely figure stood in the doorway, a set of armor easily recognized by most underground fugitives. A fearless bounty hunter, looking to find a new place in the galaxy. From underneath his visor, a set of eyes surveyed the cantina, searching for his contact. He took a step in making his way towards a corner booth; she wasn't here yet. He could feel the tension and fear in others as he stepped past them, their eyes watching him, studying him. He sat down at the booth and the bartender scurried over, fixing to get his drink. After he was settled, it wasn't very long until She showed up.
Another armored figure was spotted coming through the door, you could tell it was female. Even though she had a helmet on, he saw through it as if he were staring directly at her face. After all, these helmets were almost an extension of who and what they are. Sar'ack was only half Sith, but she still had the force sensitivity and fuel for rage that the pure-bloods possessed. She too sat down at the booth and waved the bartender over for a drink. They always had a moment of silence before someone spoke, possibly in reverence and remembrance of their lost tribe. Most often they spoke in Massassi or Mando'a, to avoid too much attraction but still be unheard by most. Finally, he broke the silence with a simple greeting. "Sar'ack." "Ellis." "I'm sorry that it's come down to this, but I have no other choice." "So you're really leaving?" "5 years we hunted that Jedi together, and I've grown in this field faster than most. I have underworld connections on almost every block, yet the kills never seem to satisfy anymore. Not like they did, not like that Jedi did." "Is that your only reason for leaving? Is that your only reason to join the Sith Order? Are you that foolish, that you would leave all this behind and submit yourself to be treated like scum, once more?" "We both know very well that I can accomplish these same completions anywhere else that I go. This has simply become too easy for me, I need more power." "But you HAVE power, why else would you kill with such ease? 5 years in the trade and you're already top of the game. I could see the fear in people's eyes even as I came in to greet you. What will the Sith Order do for you in terms of power?" "We're both force sensitive, are we not? Yet we never got the training in the force that we needed, only physical combat and lightsaber use. If I can't get that back, where else can I get it?" "But there are other Sith flagships, you could--" "But they're not HOME!" Their voices had risen, and his loud interruption drew looks towards their booth. He stared the onlookers down, and they quickly turned their heads to their own business. "Look... we both know there's no going back, even if we wanted to. The chances of finding a Sith flagship are very thin, even if you yourself are a Sith thats out on the rim, looking." "We could try to contact The Tyranny..." "But would I get the training on that ship that I could get in The Order?" There was a long silence before Sar'ack responded. "No. You have no other choice." Ellis leaned back in his seat, obviously distraught at the fact of leaving this life behind. "Will our paths cross again?" "It may be a few years before I become a warrior in rank, but you will see my return." "This is what your father would have wanted." Ellis fell silent, clearly agitated at the mention of his dead father. He pulled out his father's lightsaber and set it on the table. "I presume you'll watch over everything for me?" "Yes, I'll be waiting for your return." Ellis stood up, and Sar'ack grabbed the lightsaber, following his lead. "The Deep Dark is in Hanger 19. I'll drop my armor off there, then take the interceptor to The Order. I should make it in one piece." "Re'turcye mhi, ner Cyar'ika" (Goodbye, my Beloved.) "Mhi solus tome." (We are one together.) "Mhi solus dhar'tome." (We are one when parted.)

Ellis had made his way out of the cantina, hopping onto a swoop bike and riding off into the mist. Sar'ack knew she wouldn't see him again, but knew he was heading for the hanger to hop aboard a small, but fast interceptor and head for the Sith Order. All she could do now, was go back on the hunt. They had learned alot together, teaching each other different combat moves and techniques. So she figured she could handle some simple bounty hunter jobs by herself. It'd been a month since her last mission, so she would start out small. The past few weeks have been spent preparing Rakdar for his journey. She would definitely miss her dear friend, an emotion Sith don't usually experience. But everyone can have emotional connection, yes?
As she stood in the street, the dust from his swoop bike settling down, she breathed a sigh then made her own walk down an alley. Hidden was her own speeder bike, modified to reduce the speed constraint, and adding improved blasters. While Ellis was the meat and raw power of the team, she remained the daredevil, always fronting the fast pursuits. She would have to pick up on the extra slack now, or possibly find a new partner? But the thought of replacing her beloved disgusted her. And what if he came back, what would he think? While he had never been angry at her, he has always been sure to show his hate for others. Perhaps he would rip the limps off her new partner upon his return. She shaked away the thought and decided it would be best to stick alone. Others can be nosy anyways, and she didn't want the fact that she was a half sith to become known.
Sar'ack revved up her speeder bike, then pulled out of the alleyway, heading for the Hanger herself. Hopefully she would catch Ellis before he leaves. I doubt it.
