Kian considered this for a moment. It was true that the lower cities of Coruscant were well known as a dangerous place, even as far as Dorin. However, a Jedi Knight would be able to handle most of the criminals found in those depths.
"Are we going to give assistance?" Kian asked. He was worried for the Jedi Knight, but at the same time he was excited at the prospect of going on a mission with his new Master. He was excited by the idea of going on a mission to save a fellow Jedi. A fellow Jedi. Kian repeated those words in his head. He had come far and managed what he never thought possible. Kian quickly suppressed his excitement. He didn't want to seem over eager in front of Master D'Hara, but as he thought of the possibility of going looking for Jedi Knight Vos' his hand fell to his side. He had turned his training saber in after the trials. If they were to go, he would need to get another training saber. Apprentices were not allowed to carry actual sabers. That thought worried him a little, going into a dangerous place with only the ability to sting someone. Kian waived away that worry, he would be with others and he had the force to rely upon. Kian smiled at his foolishness though, here he was thinking like this and he didn't even know if they were going anywhere, or if such a mission existed.

"If there's no response then we'll have to isolate their communicators and track them down. Otherwise, we are to report to the council for assignment." Layia was anxious to get out of the temple. She was running out of droids to spar with after all. Grasping her saber with the Force she quietly lifted it from her belt, floating it into the air before her. Suddenly the saber dismantled itself, practically exploding midair. She smiled softly as she began manipulating the pieces back into place. She knew each and every piece of her saber as if it were her own flesh. It was a common ritual for her to rebuild it, a calming way to pass the time.
"A few more cycles and I'll start the trace."

Kian sat back and watched in fascination while the Jedi Master dismantled and reassembled her lightsaber. He had never imagined so many parts went into making the hallmark emblem of the Jedi work.
Kian sat down and crossed his legs in a meditative position. He close his eyes and began to center himself and awaited a reply from missing Jedi.

*Jee-Kun's message is relayed to the communication center. In the background of the recorder the humm of Coruscant streets can be heard.*
"Master D'Hara. I have encountered a dangerous foe, but he has escaped before he could be apprehended for questioning. I am on my way to the Council to report immediately."

((sorry I've been inactive I'm on vacation))
Kian opened his eyes with surprise. He had been meditating for quite some time when the comm system finally crackled and came to life! The Jedi had meet a foe he could not apprehend, which meant this foe had to be powerful indeed! Kian turned his attention to his master to see her reaction to this news.

Layia had to carefully mask her features. At hearing the comm she found herself excited, more than she should. The thought of such a foe made her wish she had been there instead. Composing herself she quickly sent her response. "That is truly unfortunate, I will meet you at the Council." Keying off the comm system she turned to face her new apprentice. "It seems you have arrived at a most opportune time. Things are starting to get interesting."
Grabbing her reconstructed saber out of the air she made her way for the exit. It seems she was making several visits to the council lately, and it looked like she might be getting out of the temple sooner than she had hoped.

Kian smiled. "It would appear so!" He said and followed Master D'Hara. He was eager to get involved. Kian paused for a moment as he thought of something. "Master D'Hara, am I allowed into the Council Chamber, or should I await you elsewhere?" Kian asked, not sure what the protocol at the Jedi Temple was.

"You will more than likely have to stay within the lobby outside the chamber." Layia informed her padawan before heading for the Council Chamber.
