Built into the northwestern tower of the Jedi temple, this communications center receives and transmits all messages for members within the Order.
Should you wish to contact the Order to set up a meeting, or with urgent news, this is to place to transmit your holo recording to or from.

A light began to blink in the comm station and a teenage padawan looked over and pressed a button the head of a man not much older than himself appeared on the holo projector. "Hello there, my name is Raziel Langor and I wish to arrange a meeting with the Jedi council as I have a request from them and would like to talk to the relevant parties involved in such a thing do you think you could please patch me through" the head of the man sat in silence and waited for the response from the Jedi.

Jedi Master Jaslin Chryss connected her holo link to the incoming transmission.
This is Jedi Master Jaslin Chryss. Would you like to schedule a face to face meeting, or can your request be dealt with over the HoloNet?

*Holotransmission message incoming*
¨Greetings, members of the Jedi Order and Council. If I may, this is Chief Tiber Gracchus from the Ministry of Defense. I wish to ask you about the recent attack to the Academy. An ambulance was stolen in the rescue operations. Lyel Oskeli, Imperial officer and diplomat for the Trade Summit tells us this is part of a Jedi covert operation. Adds this hijack involves directly a member of the Order. Is there any validity to his testimony? I thank you for your time, and await your response, good bye¨

Jaslin was slightly distracted by a second comm notification blinking, and decided to wrap up the previous call as quickly as possible.
"Raziel, the Council would be happy to meet with you, if you would come to the Temple tomorrow, we would be happy to meet with you."

*A strange holonet message of no clear origin appears within the communications center*
The message is simply a data file with the attached statement:
This may be of interest to the Jedi Knights, a century ago a Jedi Master by the name of Cervantes disappeared without a trace after resigning his position within the Jedi order and taking up the crown of his homeworld of Telos. Cervantes suddenly reappeared two standard months ago as the Mand'alor of the Mandalorians. Although he should of passed on some decades ago he appears to not have aged a day in the century that has passed.
*A brief bio is enclosed at the bottom of the message*
Born into the ruling family of Telos, Cervantes was the son of the ruling monarch and first in line to the throne. Choosing to join the Jedi Knights to pursue his long lost family legacy Cervantes joined the order during a period of great chaos shortly after the Jedi Temple on Talasea was attacked and destroyed by the Sith. None the less he quickly advanced in his abilities and following the attack on the orders base on Ossus he used his political connections to help hide a group of Jedi being pursued by the Sith on his homeworld of Telos, establishing the only major safe house for the Jedi at that time. Due to his invaluable aid to the order and his rapidly developing abilities Cervantes soon found himself being promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight in just a few short years.
When the order officially joined the empire Cervantes helped to manage the new base and train its up and coming students in the ways of the force, playing a vital role in the growth of a new generation of Jedi Knights and helping to replenish the orders decimated ranks. The Jedi’s relationship with the empire was not to last however and they soon rejoined the republic and settled a new base on Mon Calamari where Cervantes was promoted to the rank of Jedi Master and took on an apprentice of his own.
A few years later Cervantes’s apprentice was tragically killed while on a mission and Cervantes grieving for the loss of his friend and blaming himself unofficially quit the order and spent several years wondering the galaxy a lost soul. Cervantes returned home to Telos when he learned of his father’s death to take up his birth right as king of Telos and ruled the world as its monarch for several years. Only then officially renouncing his position in the Jedi order to pursue the life his family had always wished of him. Cervantes’s brief but prosperous reign came to an abrupt end when he dissolved the monarchy and put a ruling council of 9 in charge of the worlds government, made of the nine family’s that controlled most of the world’s economy, industry and trade. Shortly thereafter Cervantes left Telos suddenly and without warning and never returned.

:: INCOMING HOLOGRAM TRANSMISSION ::
A silver protocol droid appeared in a designated holographic room in the Republic Senate on Coruscant. "Greetings Master Jedi. Master Mivo Kvich has been listening to the talks of trade and allegiances at the Republic Senate and he wishes to pass on some information to you about how it is proceeding. The Jedi have been asked to possibly ally themselves to the Imperial Knights to deal with the present conflicts against various affiliations in the galaxy. I will say that Master Kvich does not agree with this term and says the Imperials should..."
He paused. "Well it's not very nice what he did say, something about throwing themselves out of an airlock for suggesting such a thing. But then again, he wishes you, Master Kona were here instead of him, because he feels like poking his eye stalks out. I shouldn't be relaying such negative messages, but Master Kvich requests that you and the rest of the Council decide how the Jedi Order should proceed in such a matter and then relay the message back to him so he can speak with the Senate on where we stand. Thank you." He bowed.
::: END HOLOGRAM TRANSMISSION :::

Kian entered the communications center, his eyes scanning the room with amazement. He was in the Jedi Temple. He was going to be a Jedi. He knew that the feeling of utter amazement would fade in time, but for now he was exuberant.
Kian turned to Master D'Hara. "Where did the communication originate?"

Entering the communciation centre Layia nodded a greeting to the on-dut comm officer. "It originated here on Coruscant, on the emergency broadcast channel." Approaching one of the terminals she queued Vos' message and played it back for her apprentice.
"We received a number of acknowledgements but nothing since." Her fingers ran deftly across the keypad. Isolating Knight Vos' commlink with a quick command a green light flashed on. Letting out a low sigh she apoke with her most authorative voice. "This is Battlemaster D'Hara. If you're there please respond with an update on the current situation."
Layia switched off the communicator and awaited a reaponse, hoping it was good news.

Kian listened to the message silently.
"Was knight Vos working on assignment when confronted by this hostile lifeform?"

Layia let out a long breath. "As far as I know he wasn't on any particular assignment." Turning towards her apprentice she folded her arms across her chest comfortably and leaned against the console. "He is known for going on walks through the lower city. A dangerous place but we generally assumed a Knight would be safe enough."
