Jess noticed that the man was about to order her around, and then caught himself and began more respectfully. She was not just a pawn on the board of a giant galactic chess board for someone else's purpose. Perhaps he was accustomed to getting his way and not having to deal with other people who had their own opinions and rules.
The Wookiee looked to the man suspiciously. It was one thing to request an audience before the Jedi Council, but to freely browse through the Archives while one waited would be prohibited. If someone wanted information, there was always the HoloNet. The Jedi Archives were strictly for Jedi only and there had been strict guidelines and rules put into place to ensure the security of the Temple already.
<"You may sit in the waiting area of the Jedi Council front office. You can ask the droid there if you require any beverages. However, access to the Archives is only allowed by Jedi.">

Jaslin raised her eyebrow at what Soyu said. Perhaps Manda was onto something there, but she would talk to him at a later date, when she was not around Rhys. Jedi business was best kept to Jedi.
Helping Manda, they made their way to the Halls of Healing...

(( I know it is a little less than 10 days, but I am only RPing with myself at the moment, hope you guys don't mind))
David stepped off the transporter a few moments later, emerging into the large hanger atop the Jedi temple. The droid nestled under one arm, he made his way along the closest side until he hit a non-descript door with ‘maintenance bay 4A’ engraved under the access panel. He slid his access card through this panel and walked into his apartment. One side was filled with droids ether charging on the auto recharge bay or laying around in pieces, waiting parts or his attention. The other side was his living space. Cheko, David's pet Squall hopped over to him. She mewed softly and pawed at his leg. David bend down so Cheko could scramble up his arm and cling to his shoulder as David deposited the droid under his other arm on his workbench. He then took Cheko in his arms and sat down on his bed. Cheko hummed contentedly and sucked on Treys proffered finger, a favourite pastime of hers. David observed his small garden, and felt peace overtake his mind. His garden was filled with miniature trees; all shaped to best display their best features. But the real gems where his fruit trees. Buds of 5 different tree types flowered on a single tree, each separate limb had been grafted to the original trunk, and they trees where only half a foot tall. The process took several years and David had lost quite a few weaker trees to the process. Better get on with a parts order David thought and moved to his console, holding Cheko in his arms.

It hadn't taken long for the shuttle to arrive from the lower city. Layia gestured for her apprentice to follow as she made her way to the transport she had arranged. It was the usual civilian transport, nothing fancy but it would serve them just the same. After all, flashy wasn't exactly the Jedi way. As the transport signaled it's departure codes she gazed out the viewport towards the shrinking Temple. Something just felt wrong about all this, an uneasy feeling she couldn't shake. Still, she was excited at the prospects of actually uncovering the Sith, if any still remained.
Keying her commlink to message the Temple Layia ensured that the proper relays were check to reach the Council. "This is Master D'Hara, I have finished my examination of the Lower City encounter and am now tracking the perpetrator. We are en route to Korriban." With that final message, and no chance for the Council to argue or recall her, Layia smiled as the stars began to streak and they entered hyperspace.

Kian watched the temple vanish behind them, and then saw the stars streak as they went into hyperspace. Kian's stomach churned. He hadn't gotten use to space travel yet, it was discomforting. No one ever told him how cold space was. He rapped his cloak tighter around him and shivered silently.
"How long is the trip to Korriban master?" Kian asked turning toward the jedi master.

"I'm not sure the exact time frame. I for one have not set foot on the planet before." Moving towards the meditation chairs provided to them on most ships Layia curled her legs in and got comfortable. "I observed you had issues with the finer aspects of the Force earlier. Let us take this time to meditate and fine tune your alignment to it."
She motioned for him to join her, preparing for what they may find.
(ooc: my next post will be on korriban)
