Situated on top of the Jedi Temple ziggurat, the hangers expand across several hundred meters.
Here Jedi can safely leave their ships while they tend to there business in the Temple.
Access to the hangers is granted by an access code given from any member of the Jedi Temple.

The bounty hunting droid followed the female Jedi Master into the turbolift at the High Council Chamber level and rode it down in silence next to her. D1e had input the coordinates to the transport shuttle to his remote device which was going to meet them in the hangar.
Once they arrived, the doors opened to a widened space, large enough for at least a dozen cruisers and small fighters.
The transport shuttle had not been given access codes. "I need the access codes." He swivelled to the Jedi Healer allowing a pause. "How do I know you will not try to shut me off or destroy me once you have him in your care?" The second sentence was toned with suspicousness.

Jaslin punched a few buttons on her datapad, which allowed her to bring up the landing access codes for the day. She showed them to the DE1 bounty hunter.
Smiling at its question she thought of what kind of a world this creature must come from. A world of no trust, where people betray each other, not just for deceit but as a way of life. She could never picture herself living in such a manner yet understood the droid's distrust.
"You have my word as a Jedi that when we safely receive Skyler you will be allowed to leave here unharmed."

The droid viewed the datapad and input the hangar access codes into the remote, sending it through the airwaves to the transport shuttle.
Within minutes, the hangar bay doors grinded open, and rays of sunshine permeated the hangar. The transport was a basic 'rent a ship' type, with basic qualifications.
D1e went over to the ramp and hit the button to open it and extract his bounty. "Wait here Master Jedi." He moved inside the ship with his feet clinking on the floor, warning the being of his approach.
Once in the holding room, there was the young man in his cell, with neurocuffs cuffing his arms behind his back. The neuro cuffs D1e had gotten for a price, and slowly released a sedative type poison into the bloodstream, to keep the person wearing them slightly unaware and 'out of it' basically.
"Wake up. You're home Jedi slime." The droid kicked the cage door, forcing the man to wake with a start "Move to the back." The man did as he was told and the droid unlocked the door.
He moved over, and grabbed the young man roughly and pulled him to his feet.
The man's eyes blinked warily and his head bobbed up and down. There were dark circles beneath his eyes as if he hadn't had much sleep, and cuts and bruises adorned his entire body-but that was mostly from his time in Nar Shaddaa's underground fightclubs and various bar fights.
D1e moved him down the ramp and over to the Jedi Master. By this time, the young man was slightly more awake and he blinked and focused properly on the Jedi Master. "Well.. if you had told me you were buying me a wife, maybe I would have come along more easily." He smirked cockily at the droid. What Jaslin would realize now, was that the young man was not Skyler Sykes, but he looked very similar to Skyler. This young man was infact his son, Rhys Sykes.
"Do not be disrespectful to the Jedi." The droid toned seriously.
The young man in his early thirties smiled at the Jedi. "I didn't mean any disrespect towards such a beautiful woman." He bowed his head.

A few moments after the transport had entered through the doors a rather old and battered A-24 Sleuth, the Non Sequitur, left the sunlight of the Capital and came to rest in the cool recesses of the hanger. Soyu listened patiently to the beeps and whistles of his astromech, R4-D10, as he ran the shutdown checks and procedures before constructing his reply.
"Not flux, D10, flax. I don't think it has anything to do with metallurgy. Although I could be wrong. Maybe the Master who said it found soldering relaxing and someone misconstrued his words."
Finishing the checks, he exited his ship and walked towards the turbolifts, his droid trundling alongside him. It blatted out a response.
"No, I don't get it either. Maybe that's the point."
He slowed as he approached the others. He recognised the Jedi Master but was unfamiliar with the droid and the man. D10 quietly voiced a few harsh sounding beeps, but became silent when Soyu looked at him and frowned.

Jaslin watched the bounty hunter walk to his ship to fetch the man he had promised her.
She kept her distance at first, and did not see how he grabbed the man. She only saw him bring him to the ramp and was shocked at his condition.
He was worn down and frail, as if he had recently seen a lot. Jaslin paid no heed to the comment about a wife, people who had been through trauma often would blather anything just to seem human. She could see it in his eyes, that look that said something had happened to him, something terrible.
Although, Jaslin thought, Skyler looked a lot younger than she remembered. She walked closer to him, and as she did so she noticed another Jedi arrive near from his ship. Just what she needed, she thought.
She bowed briefly to the Jedi learner, indicating that she was aware of his presence.
Extending her hands to Rhys Sykes, Jaslin carefully took him from the bounty hunter. She helped him down the ramp and spoke to Soyu Manda,
"Learner Manda, if you would be so kind as to help me with this?"
She was hoping Soyu would take Rhys from her for a moment so she could finish her business with the bounty hunter.
As she waited for Manda to take Rhys from her, she spoke to the bounty hunter.
"I was under the impression that you had someone else in captivity. However, I will still give you the credits we agreed upon, because I do not want you whisking this poor boy off to where ever in the name of the Emperor you kept him!"

Soyu returned Jaslin's greeting in kind, bowing to her. Looking Rhys up and down, he thought: ouch. He said: nothing.
Hearing the Master's request, he took a few quick steps forwards and helped Jaslin take Rhys' weight. Soyu realised she needed to finish dealing with the droid, and took enough of the strain to allow her to do so. He struggled a little supporting Rhys - he was not the strongest teenager.
Soyu briefly wondered if he should say anything to the man, but he decided that if Rhys wanted to talk he would talk, and in any case he didn't have anything useful to say. He turned his gaze to watch Jaslin's interaction with the droid.

"I kept my end of the bargain Master Jedi." D1e's photoreceptors flickered, surveying the Jedi take hold of Rhys. "I am sure this is one of the Jedi your kind may have been looking for."
"Stupid droid... I'm no Jedi." Rhys muttered. "I'm a scientist." While he was force sensitive, Rhys had not been trained in the Jedi ways. He had infact grown up on Kashyyyk with the Wookiees. Master Wa'jacca, who had lain down his sabers years ago had seen to it that they young boy had been raised in a loving home while Rhys' father had flown off into the galaxy and had not been seen in many, many years.
"You should know your place." The droid retorted.
Rhys looked to the Jedi with surprise in his eyes. He had never actually seen a Jedi up close, save for Wa'jacca when he was a young boy. Even then he hadn't seen the Wookiee Jedi Master in a long time. "Why are you being kind to me?" He thought he was only a pawn in a stupid game orchestrated by this evil droid in order to get credits. He leaned on her shoulder, as his ankles were a little weak.

Jaslin hit a few buttons on her datapad and looked at the droid.
"I need your account details."
Her tone conveyed annoyance as she waited for the details. Glancing quickly at Rhys, Jaslin extended her mind through the Force and began to scan his body for injuries, completing a mental check list of all his injuries, of what was wrong with him...

The droid handed her a datapad of the the banking details, and watched the Jedi Master carefully take care of the young man. He had heard that the Jedi generally took care of their own quite well and he didn't want her to cheat him out of what was rightfully his, especially since he could sell the man to the highest bidder if he wanted to. He had kept his end of the bargain and hoped the Jedi would do the same.
He regarded Manda with slight interest and looked over at Jaslin as he waited for the transaction to go through.

Jaslin quickly punched in the authorisation codes to transfer the credits to the bounty hunters account once she received the details.
A short moment later her datapad beeped to confirm that the entire transfer had been made. Closing it and storing it within her robes, Jaslin looked up at the bounty hunter.
"I believe that concludes our business. Please leave the Temple property shortly."
Without saying anything further to the droid, she turned her back on him and spoke to Manda and Rhys.
"Come, I think its best if we go to the Halls of Healing to get you checked out."

The Droid's servomotors hummed, showing his appeasement as he nodded. "Very well Master Jedi. Perhaps we will see each other in the galaxy somewhere." He watched the Jedi move away, and confirmed the credit transfer to his own account with one of his own datapads.
D1e then walked up the ramp of the transport ship, boarded it, and jettsoned off into the atmosphere.
Rhys ached all over, but he had survived worse. At least the stupid droid was gone. The Jedi who was attending to him was being most kind. But he supposed the Jedi was just doing her job.
As he looked at Jaslin's kind face, he suddenly felt slightly ashamed. He hadn't wanted any trouble to come their way. The Jedi didn't deserve any trouble. He hoped she hadn't had to pay too much for him. At any rate, he would work on paying her back for whatever she paid the droid. He kept his thoughts to himself and simply followed her in the direction she was trying to take them.

Soyu returned the droid's gaze, and wondered what he looked like through the eyes of a droid. Then he wondered if droids "looked" and "saw" in the same way he did at all. He decided that they probably didn't. In any case he would likely never find out, and he was here and this was now.
He brought his attention back to the present and waited for Jaslin to finish the transaction. As they moved away, he noticed Rhys look to Jaslin and felt a change in him. The change catalysed something in Soyu and almost unconsciously he said,
"This is why we're here."

The Wookiee Jedi Knight entered in the proper codes on her wrist gaunlet that would open the hangar bay doors for the taxi. She couldn't shake the uneasy feeling she had as if she was being watched, and not just by the taxi driver in the rearview mirror or by Starburner...
<"Those names sound familiar. I have probably read them in the archives at some point or other.">
As the taxi touched down, Jess paid the Gran driver as Starburner hopped out. The agile taxi zipped out of the hangar bay doors which closed behind him.

The Grandeur of the temple did not escape Starburner, however, the matter in which brought him here weighed heavily on his mind.
He bowed respectfully before the Jedi.
"Let your masters know, J'oven Starburner requests an audience."
In the meantime, show me to..." he paused and recalled a lesson his father taught him in humility and respect.
"... may I have access to the Jedi archives while I wait?"
He clasped his hands behind him and stood patiently.
