Lyle smiled and shook Senator Numa's hand. "Yes, have it sent to my room, my men can load it up in the morning. And it would be fine with me to share a transport. I only hope we can come up with some sort of an agreement tomorrow. "
Lyle prepared to follow the Senator where ever the transport was.

¨Splendid¨
The two men walked down the hallway. The Senate Guard presented their weapons and formed 2 in front and 2 behind in perfect unison following out of the office, to the corridor and the lifts. Unusually quiet for such late time, they ended in the hangars were a shuttle was waiting. They entered it, this time the Guard kept behind. Feathered full helmets and immaculate blue uniforms contrasted well the bright white interior of the ship. The platform lifted and the vessel was quick in the air and headed towards the Senate Apartment Complex.

Ryu McGray pulled out his communication device. The message appeared that the Senate session will begin tomorrow. Thinking to himself, he will be there.

Senator Tharen got the notification that the Senate would soon be in session. He stood up after finishing his lunch and made his way to his booth, and entered the appropriate codes to signify he was ready for the session to begin.
He noted with satisfaction that for once the correct issues had been submitted by his aide.
He waited patiently for the Senate to begin.

After some time, the Senate prepares itself for session.
The large bottom of the Senate rotunda doors opened. A light breaks through, the large podium rose in the middle from the private quarters, while hundreds of expecting Senators applauded welcoming the session. Numa saluted with both hands half way up and a slight smile that characterized him. Everything now in place, The Vice Chair starts formally the session and then continues with a small statement. Then he introduces the new elected Chancellor Praetos Numa
¨I welcome you all to today’s session. The Republic mourns the lives of the recently lost in the Coruscant attack. Now the brothers of Corellia sadly face a similar and tragic event. We stand together in this matter, no matter what.
This is an important day, despite the protesting and the terrorist attacks we are here today to welcome the nations of the Empire to join us, once more, inside and together under this roof.
Centuries have passed, before something like this , but I am sure together, we will find a solution to our problems. This is a colossal step thanks to democracy, and now all our voices can be heard!¨
*Applause*
The Vice Chair announced ¨Senators of the Republic, with you, the representative of the Empire, officer and diplomat Lyle Oskeli will present trade negotiations¨
Praetos Numa welcomes the booth of the Empire representative to the approach the Senatorial bench.

The Empire booth rose to its position and Lyle smiled at everyone He waited for the clapping to subside.
" Greetings Senators. I am thankful for all your hospitality thus far. I speak on behalf of the Supreme Moff who apologizes for not being there on this important day. It has been too long since the Galaxy has been represented like this under one roof. As I am sure you have all heard there has been an attack on Tanaab, I apologize on behalf of the Empire and the Supreme Moff. A fleet commanded by a rogue Admiral has broken off from our forces due his unwillingness to accept peace between the Republic and the Empire and lead this attack and we are doing everything we can to bring him to justice.
This is a time of peace yet much turmoil. While we are not in war several attacks have been struck on both of our groups planets. Striking home and killing thousands if not more. Thus the need for peace and combined strength is important if we are to find out who is bold enough to strike both of us. This brings up our Trade proposals.
First We wish to open up trade in any and all goods except military ones.
Second We wish to start a program that allows us to exchange young Scholars and allow them to learn things that otherwise they couldn't.
Third We wish to lessen restrictions on travel for citizens of the Republic in Empire Space and Vice Versa.
Fourth We would like to start a joint research project to further our knowledge of the scientific world and to start what we hope to be continued sharing Technology.
Fifth We would like to propose an program that will have the Jedi and our Imperial Knights work together. "
Lyle looked at them all his speech delivered. He hoped it went over well.

*The Mon Calamari platform descends and hovers closer*
¨We will like you to change your mind about military trade. We do have good proposals and are willing to share our technology¨ added the Calamarian
*The Kashyyk platform hovers to join the podium* ¨Rrrrroooarr rroooarrrrr¨ manifested complaining. Two more wookies raised arms roaring loudly to support the previous statement
More platforms joined the party. There was discomfort as word of reparation was in the air. History shows horrible things caused by the Empire to many different cultures and races. The attack of Coruscant and now in Corellia made matters worse. There was crisis in the Republic as the stock exchange plummeted. Everybody was tense
Numa saw the debate, and waited before any decision. The Vice Chair intervened ¨Order!...order!¨ The people of Kashyyk demand monetary reparations and had an extensive list of requests. More booths joined the podium including Corellia making remarks of the latest attacks speaking agitated. Others protested for the space restrictions. ¨We like the idea of student exchange¨ one manifested approving ¨Resources and Technology sounds a viable option¨
¨Restrictions on space borders should be in place! No Imperial transit!¨ commented another.
The chamber waited for more comments on the matter. The Jedi had to speak about the subject as well.

One of the Jedi present was Master Mivo Kvich. He stood at 6'2, with the three eyestalks, pointed ears and mouth that jutted forward almost like a snout that was characteristic of the Gran species. He hated politics, but he had been assigned this job because it was an emergency and he was the closest Jedi in the area to deal with it. Master Kona Strasse would have been the best choice due to her political backgrond, but she had more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. Plus he hadn't made it on the Jedi Council so he wasn't in the position to make major decisions, and generally preferred aggressive negotiations over sitting on a topic and waiting till someone made a breakthrough.
He stood up, and murmured something privately to his silver protocol droid that stood next to his seat. "I do not think that is at all appropriate Master Kvich." The protocol droid replied, sounding offended.
The Gran frowned and whispered something else, passing the droid a datachip. "Very well, I will pass on the message to the Jedi Council." The servomotors whined slightly as he moved his way out of the rear of the box, towards a holographic room to relay the message to the Jedi.

Senator McGray sat with his fellow politicians of Naboo. Hearing the debates on what should be done, and what should not. He sat still and continued to listen. As he listen he heard the comment about space borders.
" Do we have any idea who is affiliated with they attacks?"

((ooc not yet))
The Vice Chair addressed both Kashyyk and Corellia. ¨You will wait for turn, stand down your protest¨
*Continues* ¨The Senate welcomes the proposal of the Empire, regrets immensely the absence of the Moff and honors his representative. This proposal will now be reviewed by sections.
Before we continue, Chancellor Numa agrees with me and the entire Senate that we must put and end to the attacks perpetrated by this Rogue Imperial Admiral. It questions I am afraid the integrity of this meeting, therefore jeopardizing any agreement we might come and have at this Summit that has been so hard to achieve. It is expected that this problem within the ranks of the Empire is properly handled and this man is brought to justice
*Applause*
First Section, Military Trade- The Mon Calamari and some other Senators are willing to negotiate military designs and the possibility for mega ship contracts. We ask you, would you reconsider your stand?¨
Repulsorpods from different systems congregated in the lower levels now making them part of this discussion. There were now up to 32. Many had a lot to say.

Lyle listened to them all. The awful sound of wookiees babbling filled his ear. He wished for a translator. He then remembered he did have a droid that should do the part. Cursed non humans. Worst part by far about the Republic. He had it repeat their horrid groans in basic. Reparations ha... he couldn't believe their nerve. And the corelleans wanting all the attention due to their recent attack.
" We wish for you to ignore the Rogue Admiral. The Empire is putting a 1 billion credit award for his capture or death and working to remove him from the picture. "
He paused and then went to speak again.
" Regarding military trade We are not willing to share that kind of technology and prefer to keep it within the Empire. We are willing however to contract shipyards under heavy penalty to build our ships for us. If they dare accept the consequences should any secrets get let out and willing to build in a neutral location and or Empire location. We are also willing to purchase military tech and or military units from third party companies and or the republic should they be willing.
Regarding the complaints of Corellia, We had nothing to do with the attack on their planet and wish to extend our condolences and offer any aid they might need. The planet of Kashyyk Should realize that our "crimes' they say we did to them happened hundreds of years ago and is no longer relevant to this day and age. We will not pay any reparations for past treatment from an empire that was very different than the one that is around today. "
He looked to them all wondering what else they would ask for.

*The Mon Calamari pod remained close by*
¨We are interested on your ship designs Captain, we desire to obtain vessels as large as an Eclipse class. See, our defense is stepping up in the matter, and hopefully with your approval we can gain easy access to complete designs for immediate construction. We are quite wealthy ourselves; we can begin negotiations and I am sure you will be satisfied. There is plenty of star systems with enough funding for contracts for years to come. We must add that any added transaction of military technology is conditioned to the cooperation in the first request.¨
*A group of pods with different Senators join the Calamari side showing interested in the outcome*
The Vice Chair added ¨Then it is unanimous, the Republic is willing to share and negotiate military technology only conditioned to the exchange of designs for mega warships such as the Eclipse Class, etc. I take then your answer as negatory then¨
There is some cluttering in the background as the Senators commented on the Imperial response of what it appeared to be a firm decision.
Vice Chair continued revising the second section and announced it ¨Second section will revise the opportunity to exchange students in different levels. Floor is open for comments on this matter¨

We have many schools such as the Palpatine University and Pellaeon Academy on Bastion. They are willing to start programs that allow our students to attend your schools and vice versa. We would also like to do a joint funding of research projects with the Republic supporting the next generation of great minds, with their research being shared between both the Republic and Empire. We would also be interested in helping fund the reconstruction of the Academy that was attacked yesterday, as an notion of good will.
